Great hotel. Exactly as per description and as per pics. Spotlessly clean, great staff, good breakfast with plenty options. Few minutes drive from Albufeira marina and another few minutes to the town.
I've stayed here before and will stay here again.

The overall rating is 5, but I have some comments as well.
My partner and I had a 5-day stay at this hotel and we were very happy with our choice. It is close to several beaches and restaurants, but also to the Marina, which is a main starting point for different activities/trips. We had a sea view room which was perfect- less noisy and more beautiful view. The room is very spacious and has plenty of storage space. However, if you want to use the safe box you have to pay an extra 10 euros- that's not problem in itself, because you receive the money back at check-out, but it would make more sense for it to be automatically included in the room price. I like that the breakfast was open buffet, so many choices to pick from! We also had dinner there twice and we were very satisfied. When it comes to the overall service, I think that there is room for improvement. The housekeeping didn't come daily or sometimes they offered to come in the evening, which doesn't make much sense. The indoor pool area could use more light; the water could be warmer. Furthermore, the indoor jacuzzi didn't work (we raised this with the front desk in the 3rd day, but no resolution until our check out) and we didn't find the outdoor one. Generally, I believe that the indoor facilities could use some refurbishment, as the style/design appears quite outdated. However, there was always someone at the reception ready to help. The communication with the hotel via email before our stay was also good.

Basic and dated hotel but the clean rooms were fine. Half board - you don't get much choice in what you can eat. Definitely give it a miss if you're vegetarian as you get ONE choice. And the 'buffet' style salad is not separated from meat/fish products. That said, the breakfast was good. The pool and pool area are far too small for the size of the hotel so there is nowhere to get away from rowdy guests. There were children in the pool at one point (I can only presume that the man they were with was staff, however this is an ADULT ONLY hotel.)

On arrival we were told that each guest had to provide €100 deposit and it had to be cash. Ridiculous as obviously we were then forced to take €100 cash home with us at the end of our holiday that was converted to be used while in this country.
Our hotel door lock didn’t work the whole time we were there. It was a miracle we weren’t robbed. After several trips to reception to explain the door would not lock behind us they then provided us with a steel key. This also did not work as it was interfering with the electronic mechanism that also controls the door latch. In the end we gave up trying to explain.
The location was great in the fact it was away from noisy night life.
But was quite secluded from every thing except a small beach and a few small shops.
Day time at the pool we were scared to make any noise without receiving a death stare from guests. 0 music, 0 atmosphere = 0 fun
It’s called an ‘adult only hotel’ but it should really be called ‘seniors only’
We had a sea view suite. It Was supposed to sleep 4 but really it was 2 single beds and a pull out couch which only had room for one person. We took it in turns sleeping on the floor.
We could not take a shower for more than about 3 minutes as the water was not draining away and was rising over the shower unit and in to the rest of the bathroom. The floor was wet the whole time we were there and constantly had to mop up with towels.
