Fantastic weeks stay at Maristel.
Staff were really friendly from reception, to bar staff to cleaners. Everyone made you feel welcomed.
Food - really tasty. Good selection at breakfast from cold meats, cheeses, pastry’s to hot cooked. Fresh cake loaf every morning was lovely.
We ate in the evening twice and had lunch twice and have to say food was amazing. Selection of tapas choices and also more main meal style all of which was really tasty, fresh and good variety. Drinks also really nice, good options and nice to have cocktails to choose from of an evening.
Rooms - we stayed in the dreaming sea view. Spacious and comfortable. This was in the block of rooms across the road and had a balcony overlooking the mountains and sea. Fantastic outlook and great to have the balcony. I would say though that rooms were a little tired. We had a dodgy balcony door (broken handle) and a few tiles were broken on the floor in the bedroom. You don’t spend a lot of time in the room at a hotel like this so really didn’t bother us!
Location - sleepy, wonderful village of Estellences! We adored it but would not recommend if you’re after something with a bit of a buzz. Only about 3-4 restaurants in the village and would highly recommend a car although bus was very frequent from what we saw. Access down to the beach (very steep!).
Hotel amenities - although we had spa access (we booked direct) we didn’t actually use, however pool area was lovely. Lots of sun beds and good selection of other seating (sofas, chairs, deck chairs, day beds, beanbags etc)
Overall we had a wonderful stay, if you’re after something a little quieter, up in the mountains away from the hustle and bustle, I’d 100% recommend Maristel!

To say we loved our stay would be an understatement. Hotel Maristel is the type of place that you want to gatekeep so that it doesn't become overrun, but its hard to do so when this hotel is so deserving of their hotel being fully booked year round. The room we had was absolutely breathtaking. We had an absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean and town below. The food was outstanding and the drinks were exceptional! The servers were so kind and so accommodating. I am relatively fluent in spanish, but they were patient with me on words I didn't know how to pronounce and helped me to learn. The hotel is also located near a walking path down the mountain. Youre in for a rewarding hike filled with views and nature. Their spa is also amazing and so affordable after a long day. During our stay we decided to make a hotel reservation in Palma for 1 night and around 1am, we decided we wanted to go back to Maristel. On our last day, we decided to book another night and forfeit a day in barcelona just to experience another Mallorca day. Forget Deia, forget Soller...you must look into Estellencs.

We had a great stay here! The location is beautiful, surrounded by the mountains of Tramuntana and the sea. The village was so peaceful. Every night we slept with the window open, and we didn't hear any noise. The room (junior suite with a sea view) was big and cosy. The bathtub was a nice add. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had a lot of options and every day they had something different to offer for sweets (carrot cake, banana cake, ...). Did not use the spa, but the pool was refreshing and overall a mellow vibe. We are definitely coming back!
