There are some other reviews on here that I could easily copy and paste. The descriptions are spot on.
Bottom line… this is not even close to a 4* hotel. The room is spacious, but in desperate need of an upgrade.
The sofa is stained and not usable. The plastic table and chairs are better for the patio. The safe is broken. There are nails and wood protruding around the wardrobe. There are 3 hangers, all of which look like they’ve been left by other guests. I could go on about the curtains halfway off, or the wall blistering from water damage, but I think you get the point.
Since we’re only staying for one night (maybe these rooms are where they put the one-nighters?), we were able to manage. At least the bed was comfortable and appeared to be a new mattress. For those staying for two weeks, I hope your room is better

Not a 4* experience — unless we were just unlucky with our room. For a short stay it was manageable (and we didn’t raise a complaint), and the location is convenient, but the amenities felt very basic.
The room: Beds and pillows were uncomfortable, the hairdryer didn’t work, and the wardrobe had a broken piece of wood sticking out that was a clear trip hazard. The sofa was completely worn and stained, making it unusable, and the table and chairs were cheap plastic, intended for outdoor use. The safe was broken, and the bathroom wasn’t properly clean. The only toiletries provided were soap and shower gel, with two water glasses.
Facilities: Breakfast was acceptable but limited, and the pool area seemed poorly maintained. However, the exterior and surrounding grounds looked fine, which makes it all the more disappointing that the interiors felt neglected and in need of investment.
Service: Check-in was friendly and check-out straightforward.
Overall, it’s okay for a short stay if you set your expectations, but it didn’t meet 4* standards in our experience. Other reviews suggest some rooms may be better maintained, so perhaps we were just unlucky.

We've been coming to this hotel for 4 years and have no complaints.
Everyone there is lovely, friendly and helpful- feels like home away from home.
The breakfasts are great and the rooms are comfortable and clean.
The gardens and pools are so well kept.
Brilliant hotel 10/10.

Definitely Not 4 star. Rooms are minimal with no facilities whatsoever - not even a glass to use for water - no crockery/cutlery provided. No on-site options for any beverages or food, outside of minimal breakfast. Pool cafe/bar permanently closed. Nearest supermarket is over a mile away and uphill, if walking is an issue. No umbrellas around the pool. Total lack of atmosphere and facilities are virtually non-existent. Hotel has plenty of scope but needs overview and consideration for potential new clients.

I didnt stay in tbe complex, i had access to pool facilities. The pool was really nice with adult only pool separate from family and kids area, which was nice and quiet. No pool bar available. The pool toilets were not maintained very well, but in the main hotel reception they were much cleaner. Ample towels available which were a good size and soft.
