Very conveniently located hotel, but that's pretty much all the positive I can say about my stay. The room itself was very date and run down, cracks in the walls and stains on the upholstery. Neither door to the room felt very secure and there was a lot of noise from the corridor and room above in the mornings and evenings. The safe in the room required a key which was not provided, so there were no safe locations to store valuables. The restaurant was nice enough. Breakfast was solid and the evening meals rotated, but for a relatively quiet time there were waits to enter the dining room as it was at capacity. Staff in the bar in the evening were always very welcoming and pleasant, often remembering your order if you were in the night before. Most other staff didn't look like they wanted to be there and you'd have to flag them down for basic things like a drink with your dinner. Having to pay for every order as you go is also very tiresome. It's been a long time since staying at a hotel where you can't charge things to the room to settle up at the end.
I got very ill on my last day. Having only eaten at the resort for dinner and breakfast in the 12 or so hours before leaving, I can only assume it was from the food at the hotel.

Stayed at Hotel Java on two different occasions, 14.03.26 and 17.03.26, for a work trip. Both times the bathroom was very dirty. There was hair in the shower and urine stains on the toilet. The door leading out into the hallway had zero audio insulation, I could see light through the gap in the door. I can tolerate old rooms with low standards, but dirty bathrooms are a huge no go for me. I will not stay at this hotel in the future.
The lady in the bar at the evening was very kind and made good dry martinis though!

One of the best hotels that I stayed and I have stayed in many. Provides high quality in everything like smooth towels, very clean room and amazing body care products. Room service was cleaning every day. We had only breakfast included and that was also tasty with big variety. Last the location is amazing. Very close to the beach. Sure would like to come again.

Nice hotel in a very good location. Close to the beach, close to the bus stop and a lot of restaurants and shops. The breakfast was ok, maybe a bit too repetitive but some days they have some additional things. The fresh eggs and pancakes for breakfast are a really nice thing which not a lot of hotels have. All in all good hotel to stay at

I was quite disappointed with my experience at BG Hotel Java. I booked my stay through Luxair Tours and arrived at the hotel at 9:30 PM, only to find that the room had clearly not been prepared for a new guest. The bed linen was unchanged and full of hair from previous occupants, the bathroom was not cleaned, and the toilet was dirty. This was extremely unpleasant and unacceptable.
As it was already late in the evening, there was no staff available to provide clean bed sheets. The reception staff were kind and gave me some duvets to place underneath, but I still had to sleep without proper covers and ended up feeling cold during the night.
Additionally, during dinner, I noticed that when the buffet was nearly finished, some staff members were handling the leftover food with their bare hands while clearing it away. They were literally picking up food with their hands, which raised serious hygiene concerns.
Overall, this stay did not meet my expectations, especially considering the standards I was led to expect through Luxair Tours.
