Stayed at IPV and overall had a really pleasant experience. The place is spotless, and the sea view is genuinely lovely, the kind you don’t get tired of. The whole hotel has a classic, slightly old-world charm. The only downside is that some of the furniture, like the sofas and beds, feels a bit dated. Maybe they’re keeping it that way to match the classic style, but a bit of updating wouldn’t hurt.
Breakfast was fairly good, no complaints there, but the dinner menu was honestly disappointing. We went to try it and ended up turning back, just not worth it.
Service was great throughout, and the staff were warm and friendly. The spa was good as well; you do need to book ahead for massage treatments, but the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna are usually easy to access this time of year. The outdoor pool has a gorgeous view and is kept very clean.
There’s no private beach, but there is direct access to the beach from the hotel grounds, which is a big plus. And for the shopping enthusiasts, the Miramar mall is only about a 15 min walk or a 5 min drive , very handy.
Overall, a charming stay with a few quirks, but plenty of highlights.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily return. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was excellent, with great quality and variety.
The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the balcony offered a beautiful sea view — a real highlight. The hotel’s location is perfect: just a very short walk from the city, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Being right next to the sea, with a lovely pool and direct access to the beach, made everything incredibly convenient.
Overall, a fantastic stay with great service, comfort, and an unbeatable location. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again.

We had a very disappointing experience during our stay, starting from the check-in process. Prior to our travel, we communicated with the hotel multiple times via email and phone, as our travel plans changed and we checked in on the 19th instead of the 17th. During a phone conversation with a staff member, we were assured of the arrangements and also booked an additional room for our children.
However, upon arrival, none of this was properly honoured. We did not receive any adjustment or consideration for the change in dates, and the check-in staff informed us that we had to rebook another room at a much higher rate. The new booking ended up costing almost double the amount that had been agreed upon over the phone. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
We have traveled to many countries and stayed in numerous hotels, but this was by far the worst experience we have ever had. It truly ruined our holiday. Additionally, the room only included complimentary water on the first day. When we requested more water the next day, we were told we had to pay extra for it, along with room service charges. This was shocking to us, as it was the first time any of us—including our children—had experienced this in a hotel. The children were especially upset and uncomfortable throughout the stay.
The only positive aspect of our experience was the restaurant staff, who were absolutely amazing and very welcoming. Unfortunately, this was not enough to make up for the overall poor experience we had at the hotel.

We are on the final night of our short break and we have been very happy with this hotel. 1st floor of Mijas part of it, sea view with terrace. Right on the sea front, lovely quiet hotel even though it was busy. Beds are so comfy, rooms spotless and cleaned daily. Breakfast -wow, from usual cold section, to freshly cooked crepes and churros, hot items, breads and pastries galore
Half an hour walk from main part of town for fish alley restaurants and marina area but the walk there and back is lovely as beach all the way.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

Lovely hotel, well maintained and clean. The rooms are very spacious including the bathroom. Plenty of choice for your breakfast. The location I did give 5 stars, only because it's quiet and right on the beach. It can be a walk into the centre, probably 10-15mins but it is a lovely walk across the bridge. I believe if you had a hotel closer to the centre it can be a bit noisier, personal choice I suppose. I like walking so it's perfect for me. Can easily recommend Rob
