Absolutely stunning gardens and surrounding areas. The room we gave a 4 star as we were located in room 204, it was just behind the Hotel washer and dryer area or service area so it was extremely loud from early hours of the morning, If you like being awake at 6.30 to 7.00am every day on holiday this is the room for you. No water or coffee/tea in the rooms on arrival and the mattresses and pillows could do with a little upgrade in areas, the views of the ocean from 1-50 or 150-205 the views are stunning. We gave the service a 4 star rating due to lack of staff in some areas, example if it is busy and you order cocktail from outside the all inclusive list you are made wait until the all inclusive drinks are served first even know you are paying for the drink. Found it slightly unusual, the location is about 20 minutes walk from any shopping restaurant location so definitely rent or car, or avail of the bus service from the hotel daily. For me the location was a 4 star due to this. Other than this the facilities were fantastic and the kids had a great time. Would recommend it for family with both younger and teenage children, cool arcade, water park was fab and the food fresh daily.

We stayed at Hotel Paradise Island in Playa Blanca with our young family for a week all-inclusive, and overall it was a really great holiday — especially for the price. Everything was easy, relaxed and very family-friendly, which made travelling with little ones much less stressful.
The waterpark was definitely the highlight for our kids. It kept them entertained every day and was perfect for younger children, so that alone made the trip worthwhile. Food, facilities and atmosphere were all solid for what you pay, and the staff were friendly throughout our stay.
The only downside was the beds — they were extremely firm and not the most comfortable. Aside from that though, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it to families looking for a fun, good-value all-inclusive break.

We have just come back from a week at this hotel with our 3 year old boy and honestly I was so dubious about arriving at this hotel as some of the reviews were so bad and honestly I cannot understand why! Everyone at the hotel said they thought the same, many of us debating calling TUI and trying to change hotels but they couldn’t be more wrong. It’s one of the best all inclusive food I’ve ever had, it was delicious and good variety every night. The staff couldn’t be more helpful - they go above and beyond for everyone. There was staff constantly cleaning and maintenance everywhere. Yes the pools were cold but it’s February so that was to be expected. The room was absolutely lovely, spacious, clean, huge patio and ours was really central to the water park and pool area. My little boy loved the kids club the staff were amazing with him and they all made a huge effort with the kids. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this hotel - is it 5* luxury, no. It’s a perfect family friendly hotel and this is what all the families we met at the resort were saying the exact same thing. Please don’t be put off by reviews as we had a fantastic holiday!

Our recent stay at HL Paradise Island was far below expectations, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience.
Room & Cleanliness
• The room was in a shocking state on arrival.
• Cleaning standards were extremely poor the cleaner sprayed strong chlorine everywhere, which ruined two hoodies and a pair of jeans.
• Blankets were dirty and had a noticeable odour, which is unacceptable for any hotel.
Maintenance Issues
• The shower drain was blocked. We reported it, but it was never fixed.
• We booked a double bed but received two singles pushed together, and on top of that, the bed legs were loose. I had to fix them myself. Kid had to sleep on corner couch(unacceptable)
• Air conditioning didn’t work, making the room uncomfortable.
• Maintenance staff struggled with even basic English, making communication difficult.
Facilities & Services
• The hotel advertises “free Wi‑Fi”, but it doesn’t work at all or at super low speeds.
• The paid Wi‑Fi option is ridiculously overpriced, especially for an “all‑inclusive” hotel.
• Around meal times, people smoke near the restaurant doors, and the smell drifts inside, ruining the dining experience.
Pool & Restaurant Behaviour
• The hotel claims that reserving pool chairs with towels is not allowed, but this rule is completely ignored. Towels appear early in the morning, and some of “occupied” chairs stay unused all day.
• Dress code in the restaurant is not enforced. People walk in half‑naked, dripping wet straight from the pool.
• Many guests leave trash and food everywhere, and staff don’t intervene something that could easily be controlled with basic supervision.
Overall
This hotel has potential, but the lack of maintenance, poor cleanliness, weak management, and complete disregard for basic rules make it a very disappointing place to stay. With better staff training, proper cleaning standards, and actual enforcement of hotel policies, it could be much better but right now, it falls far short of what it advertises.

Hotel 'Parasite' is very appropriate!
Dreadful in every single way (except the reception staff who were very nice).
We had to book something in a hurry to meet up with friends and, regrettably, booked this so called 4 star all inclusive hotel before researching it further and reading some recent reviews. Quite simply, we were both totally shocked at how awful this place is.
Food inedible. Literally.
Drinks terrible.
The level of noise almost constantly was unbearable. We were there mid Jan and we were the only ones without an entourage of shouting, screaming, feral children running around all over the place, touching all the terrible food. This hotel would be flattered if it was a 2 star, but claiming to be a 4 star is comical at best. We had no intention of utilising the all inclusive as we were visiting friends, but thought it'd be handy for one or two days and for some drinks, but unfortunately the food was so bad (uncooked chicken, horrendous fish and everything stone cold and disgusting) and the atmosphere/vibe unnerving at best, we only slept here and went out for everything. I say slept, what I mean is we managed to get a few hrs sleep per night but that's all.
Avoid this place like the plague!
