We had a wonderful stay. The room was fantastic views amazing and the food selection was lovely. We went all inclusive and found it to be worth every cent. There is areas for family's where parents and kids can enjoy the sun and activities and an adult only area. We with no young children spent most of the time in the adult section, where we could enjoy a child free environment. Both sections have plenty of loungers and even though there were queues for both sections there were always spots available after opening of the pool areas. Breakfast, lunch and dinner saw a wide variety of food which would please even the most fussy eaters. The food was a mix of local and Irish/English cuisine. If there was any downside to the stay it was the AC (or lack thereof), even on its lowest setting it wasn't enough to keep the room cool. It was cooler than outside, but sometimes you need real coolness. We went at the end of May temperatures reached about 29 degrees, I can only imagine how warm the rooms would be in July or August. Staff were wonderful, friendly and all very helpful. We have booked back in for next year.

Hotel was nice, however it has been the noisiest hotel that we have ever stayed in. There was doors banging loudly untill early hours and other guests were not considerate when going back to their rooms at all hours, screaming, shouting and banging about. We could hear the conversations people were having on the balcony's at gone midnight. The rooms next door you could hear almost everything, chairs scraping across the floor, wardrobe doors banging. Needless to say we was kept awake quite alot.
The staff were nice enough but in my opinion considering the size of the hotel there was not enough of them.
The pools were busy and you could not reserve sunbeds first thing, queues to the sunbeds were well over 50people in line rushing to get a bed. This being said we always managed to get a bed in the adult only end. The larger of the 2 adult pools made our swimwear turn yellow and you couldn't get in this till at least 11 o'clock as it was being cleaned.
The bar this end also did not open untill 11 most days but on occasion it was after midday which left a big walk to the other end or back upstairs for a drink. You could refill your bottles with water and there was a litre I the room on arrival.
The restaurant was spacious and far end much cooler to eat, food was lovely on the first few days but had a couple of days where it was not so great. Chinese night was a hit. Location away from the shops, not my favourite but the marina was only a short drive by taxi costing about 8 euros. The views were lovely and it was a nice walk along the path. Lovely beach area both sides for swimming and snorkeling. You could pay for sunbeds on the beach for 12 euros I think. Cannot comment on the entertainment as this didn't start till 10pm. There was a kettle in the room and we took our own tea bags and coffee bags. My husband liked the steam room, didn't book in the spa. Towels are 10 euro deposit which you get back and if you want to change them it is a euro each time.
Overall a nice hotel but far too noisy at night with other guests for us.

The food was amazing. Amazing so many choices and very high quality. We absolutely loved it.
Also so many facilities indoor pool and sauna’s and jacuzzi.
The fitness was really amazing and was 24/7 open. We absolutely loved it……we are very much in to fitness……
The tennis court was also amazing.
And the hotel was super close to the beach we could easily walk there……
Also it was amazing how they seperate the outdoor pool area. Toddlers pool…. Family pool area….. and adult only pool areas where it’s nice and quiet….
Everything was just marvelous splendidly above our expectations….. we will definitely come back…..

The hotel has everything to offer - something for everyone. Food and service is very good, nice variety and great with gluten free menus. Juan Antonio in reception was amazing and very helpful and organised room service when I wasn’t feeling well.
The cleaning staff, bar staff and kitchen staff including waitresses and waiters were very friendly and helpful.
If you want a sunbed either at the splash pool or the adults only pools, you’ll need to start queuing from 8:30am if not before.
Didn’t visit the spa as it closes at 6pm which technically should be open later in the summer months.
Beaches are bit rocky but taxis are reasonable to various beaches.

Estival Torrequebrada is a satisfactory hotel for family and friend holidays.
The Rooms are cleaned daily, they are modern and sleek with plenty of storage space. The beds are very comfortable and well made up. The bathroom in our room was also nicely designed, It was however flooded with ants which is a major issue for guests in my opinion.
The service in this hotel is adequate. The bar staff and the entertainment team are absolutely incredible, however reception staff can be difficult and unhelpful at times.
Food service is also hit and miss, the restaurant always has great selection of foods, but the quality of said selection varies from good to disappointing. Some nights the food tasted fresh and other nights food was dry and rubbery. Breakfast however has been great every morning.
The all inclusive package is satisfactory, despite being advertised as "All inclusive plus" you do not have access to branded spirits which is massively disappointing as these are included in other hotels in the area. The cocktails for all inclusive are also pre mixed and watery, the premium versions of every cocktail are available for a charge. This to me defeats the objective of an all inclusive stay. I would also advise guests to plan their departure from the hotel around the checkout time as all inclusive benefits end when guests check out at 10.30am. This meant my group, who's transport was at 8.15pm, were left 9 hours without access to food and drink unless we paid the hotels extortionate fees. I have travelled to this country several times and stayed in numerous hotels, I have never had my all inclusive taken away at checkout, it has always been at departure time instead. This in my opinion is greedy from Estival and should be communicated to guests on arrival so there is time to plan.
The hotel itself is nice, it's modern and well planned out. It does however have a really bad smell they try to mask. Im unsure what this is caused by but it's prominent at certain times.
The pool facilities are great. I do however have a huge problem with the lifeguard around the children's pool, constantly leaving his station to talk to female guests or go behind the bar, sometimes leaving the area unsupervised for over 10 minutes at a time. This is a huge issue that Estival must resolve, especially in the children's pool, where young people are at risk.
Overall, I find estival torrequebrada to be nothing special. My group has certainly had a good holiday, and Its been a good base to explore benalmadena and surrounding areas. But I find the lack of clear communication, poor all inclusive and unpleasant lifeguard to be 3 of many examples of things that make this hotel mediocre and subpar compared to other local options.
