Staff Okay, said hello when entering and leaving, just the basics, that's where it ended! Nice enough though.
The room was okay, great view. Bed was like a brick, it was super uncomfortable, a concrete floor would have been more comfortable I'm guessing, felt beaten up by the end of our stay! There was no quilt just the equivalent to 1970s old itchy blankets that were not soft to the touch. Housekeeping was good no complaints there
Breakfast was nasty, the worst coffee EVER, so much so we ordered a 'cappuccino' the next time, it wasn't a cappuccino it was a cup of the cheapest hot chocolate EVER, zero coffee in it! Toast hard as a brick like the hotel bed mattress!
The shower room floor flooded after 3 minutes, ridiculous! Nothing 4 star about this hotel except the room view. Been in much better 3 star hotels with fantastic food, super friendly staff, maybe not a sea view. Basically, Hotel De Cerro can keep that sea view considering all the other negative factors that, in short, make it a 2 star hotel and not 4 star hotel!
To add insult to injury, they charge you to hire a kettle per day. All hotels we have stayed in, regardless of how many stars the hotel is, provide a kettle free with sachets of tea, coffee, sugar and miniature milk cartons daily!

We were a group of 4 mature ladies on a long weekend away. Highly recommend this hotel, location great, hotel comfortable but what made it for us was the staff. From first arriving at the hotel to a warm welcome by the receptionist, then being looked after by the pool, terrace & restaurant staff so well. Nothing was too much trouble & all had a smile on their face. And let's be honest, staff can make your holiday. Special shout out to Bruno & Rita 👏

Lovely hotel, authentic style. Only gripe is no kettle in the room, which we knew about, paid 7 euros for the week and brought my own tea bags. Breakfast is different, but was always good. We liked that the hotel was far enough away, but able to walk to and from the centre of Albufiera.

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday. The hotel was very clean but it's the staff that make it great. They were all very friendly and helpful and we were always greeted with a smile. Special reference must be given to Pedro, his lovely lady colleague (whose name I completely forgot) and Bruno in the dining room. We had a problem with our shower leaking, flooding the whole floor and seeping out under the door and into the passage. Maintenance couldn't fix the problem and we were upgraded to a beautiful room with sea view. I celebrated my birthday whilst we were there and came back to the room to find I had been left with two small bottles of port and chocolates which was a lovely touch. The dinners were delicious and varied but the breakfasts were the same every day which could be improved upon. The only downside if the hotel is that they charge extra for literally everything, there's no kettle or coffee/ tea provided and if you do want a kettle and cups there's a daily charge as well as a daily charge for the use of the safe which is already in the wardrobe. If you get makeup on your towels they charge you for extra laundry which is ridiculous! Overall we had a lovely holiday but certain aspects in the hotel need improvement

What an Amazing gem in Albuferia.
Quirky hotel, peaceful, mainly adults, probably over 50's, which suited us to a tee!!! Breakfast was good, great choices, staff really friendly.
Loved the cocktail bar on the terrace.
Can't speak highly enough of this hotel.
