Lovely hotel in an excellent location.
Check in staff were very helpful and provided us with keys ahead of our room being officially ready in order that we could make use of other facilities in the hotel.
The cleaning team were excellent - turning our sofa bed into a bed each evening and back to a sofa in the morning, all the time managing to do this while we were either out or at meals.
Evening meal time was the only downside really. For the buffet, they have 2 sittings: 6:15 - 7:45 and then 8:15 - 9:45. When we arrived we were advised of this and, despite having a 5 year-old with us, were told by reception that the 6:15 was full and we had to go to the 8:15. We did this for the first 2 nights and then asked about changing it with the restaurant staff who managed to accommodate this without any difficulty, so I believe they could have let us have the earlier sitting from the start.
The hotel adjoins an archeological site in the town for which access is provided via a gate into the burial area of the site, and a short walk takes you across to the ancient village which now has a hotel bar on the hillside overlooking the town and sea front. I believe that you can access the site from the street, but that has a small entrance fee, whereas access is included within your hotel costs.
There are also a number of additional access gates alongside the hotel giving easy access to the town itself without having to trek back up to reception which means that it is only a 5 minute walk down to the beach.

Check if the staff seem stressed which was not an ideal first impression.
They don’t provide daily coffee or water in rooms which I complained about - they told me to complain by writing it onto a leaflet… which irritated me.
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
I had to ask to be moved as I was stuck between two families with children, who were loud. - hotel moved me straightaway.
Housekeeping start knocking to try to clean your room before 9 am, which is crazy.
Food is okay, not amazing. But as I would expect for the price and location of this hotel.
Every single bill at lunch has been wrong so far, so make sure you check your bills.
Loads and loads of kids around so if you want a quiet holiday, this is not the one for you !

So glad we found this Gem of a hotel. Super public areas and restaurant, beautifully presented. Staff very welcoming and helpful.
Pool areas were perfect as were the spa facilities (massages very good if slightly overpriced). The main selling point has to be the amazing gardens, it feels fresh and lush throughout the grounds. Access to the arciologcal dig sight at the rear was a welcome surprise and we would advise anyone without mobility issues to have a look.
Our room was very clean and comfortable but could benefit from a little update, our housekeeper, Anna, was very friendly and provided a great service each day.
We will return as we enjoyed this hotel very much.

It's a really great hotel. Beautiful surroundings. The pools were large, and the water was warm. The food was good with plenty of choice. The hotel was conveniently located for the beach, five minute walk, and the port, eight minute walk. Mogan itself is a stunning town. Would go back again.

Only an overnight stay! So not much to go on. Buffet breakfast was delicious but a bit manic ~ lot of people. Not sure about the coffee brought to our table, when there are good coffee machines around. The room had robes, a pod coffee machine & a large private balcony with loungers, table & chairs. Not much to dislike.
