Lovely hotel situated a 20 min drive from palma. Hotel definitely requires a hire car, as the hotel is up steep winding mountain roads only accessible by car. Room was large and nice and tidy with balcony facing the sea. Breakfast was worth the money selection of pastries, cold meats, cheese, breads and cereals, as well as the option to have a hot option for example waffles, eggs benedict or salmon and avocado toast. Rooms was quiet and hotel is very peaceful with views over coast. Only issues were had were that our door wouldn’t lock and could be opened by simply pushing from the outside, we spoke to the receptionist about this and she had the handyman have a look at it, the next day it was the same and the handyman came and completely fixed it. Additionally the air conditioning was still on winter mode and wasn’t cooling the room, as a result our room got up to 31 degrees and when we asked reception about this they just said it was the same over the hotel and they hadn’t switched the air conditioning to the summer mode. However, overall lovely hotel and worth the money!

Rooms are big but pretty bare bones. Nice and clean with really fantastic rain showers. We booked the “superior double room” through a 3rd party website and ended up with a “Mountain View”…aka “street view” which is basically looking at a road. But the grounds the hotel is on is beautiful and we walked to one of the many open benches and rocks to watch the sunset over the sea. The dining area was really cute with also sea views! We didn’t eat there but had coffee. Bus stop right in front of the hotel takes you to valdemossa town in 5 min (runs every hr or so). Parking is easy and the roads to get here were not super tight or windy like the town itself. Kind reception - they stored our luggage before check in at 2 pm for us!

I paid quite a lot to get a superior room that clearly stated to have a “sea view”, but in the end I got a room (103) that has a small promontory that blocks completely the view, not qualifying anymore as “with sea view”. Not willing to change my room at the reception. I basically got one of the rooms close to the reception on the first floor with the crappiest view. Really disappointed, as I came here specifically for this. Also, gym and swimming pool are a bit far away from the hotel itself, you have to walk along the parking to arrive there, not ideal. Menu of the restaurant very limited, they don’t even have salads…

This was our second time staying at this hotel, and there’s a reason we returned! We really love this hotel. The rooms are massive and almost all of them provide the most spectacular ocean view with blue as far as the eyes can see. The hotel location is quite secluded, which we loved because we wanted somewhere quiet, but you definitely need a car to get around. The hotel pool is large with ample sun beds for all the guests, and the restaurant on site is really nice too. We never had breakfast there but the dinner we had one night was great.

Great view, nice breakfast, large rooms although they are very bland. Which doesn’t really make it look homely. More like a Best Western I’d say.
The major problem with this hotel is the paper thin walls and floors which mean you can hear every noise. Furniture being dragged around - I can only assume by the cleaning ladies. People talking in the corridors after a late drunken return. Guests stomping around upstairs. Doors slamming. If you don’t get a room on the top floor then really, stay elsewhere.
