A fantastic location in Agadir just a few minutes walk to the Marina with all its cafes & restaurants or in the other direction for a fantastic range of restaurants.
Check in was fine, no interaction, no welcoming hello which was a first. Bell boy (man!) was lovely & brought us to our room which was grand. Basic but clean & that was fine.
Pool area was clean, attended although nobody in pool as it wasn't heated & extremely cold.
Terrace Bar was extremely busy the first night as Africa cup was on but the waitress on was phenomenal. An absolute dynamo looking after everyone.
The Panoramic Bar upstairs has a lovely view but staff extremely unfriendly & tended to ignore us even after catching their attention. We went in twice & each time the same bad service. They were quick to talk & serve local business men who were seated behind us & ignored us diligently.. I wouldn't go back to this bar after that. Disappointing.
Snack Bar is good & excellent friendly customer service.
Buffet breakfast is extensive, with hot food station offering omelettes, eggs, and local Moroccan cuisine. Pastries, fruit yoghurt, continental breakfast all available along with a tea & coffee station.
Housekeeping was excellent & little touches were lovely.

A beautiful, relaxing stay with my mum – truly special
Me and my mum stayed at Club Al Moggar Garden Beach and honestly had such a lovely experience. The location is perfect — right on the beach, close enough to walk into town, but peaceful and calm inside the resort.
The gardens are beautiful and well kept, the pools are spacious, and the whole place feels very relaxed and safe, which was especially important as I was travelling with my mum. Our room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after long beach walks and spa days.
The staff were kind, welcoming, and always happy to help — they really made us feel at home. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, and we loved being able to step straight out onto the beachfront for walks, sunsets, and fresh air every day.
It’s not a flashy luxury hotel, but it has charm, warmth, and soul — perfect for a calm, affordable, and enjoyable stay. We made such special memories here and would definitely return. Thank you Club Al Moggar for looking after us so well 🇲🇦✨

I’m a Moroccan living in London. And I come to Agadir regularly.. I have only heard good things about this hotel so when my friends in London asked me what hotel I would recommend I chose this one for them. It was very embarrassing how they have been treated. The staff speaking about them in Arabic whilst knowing they don’t understand, when asked to speak English the staff then got very rude and said they don’t speak English. Why does this person work behind reception. Fairly old lady with glasses. Two security guards who are so rude and so unwelcoming baring in mind the hotel is not cheap ONLY due to its location. When my friends checked in they got given a room that’s dirty and told the cleaners have gone to eat lunch. 2 hours later room still not sorted and cleaner is still eating lunch. This is extremely unprofessional and super embarrassing ! I will never ever recommend this place. Great location but because of this they think they’re better than people and treat people how they like. When I went to speak with them and they realised I’m Moroccan and spoke the language they told me to leave the hotel as I don’t have a reservation. 0/10 from me. 0/10 for clean rooms. 0/10 customer service. 0/10 reception. 0/10 security. One women in reception was trying to be helpful but kept getting told to not entertain us and I was told to leave which I happily did I have my house in Agadir where my friends have been staying with me despite them paying a lot for this accommodation and an expected customer service that comes with it. The only reason they wanted the hotel was so that they can swim and wake up by the beach every morning. Wallah I’m so embarrassed. I hope the staff all read this and do better.

Had mixed experience at this hotel. Our first night was a bit of a nightmare they gave us rooms quite far from the lobby and we had to climb up two sets of stairs considering we had two pushchairs! I will point out the positives and negatives below:
Positives:
1. Friendly and polite staff including the cleaners and reception staff. They did move us to slightly better rooms the next day the lady at reception Khadijah was very helpful and understanding.
2. Great location as through the back of the hotel you can access the strip and the beach. Literally a couple of minutes walk from our rooms.
Negatives:
1. Rooms were outdated. Went with full family so we had 3 rooms Although they were spacious, they need modernising and we found cockroaches in the rooms. We notified reception and the bell boy also informed them but they didn't do anything about it.
2. The AC didn't work very well rooms were really warm Although our trip was in late December 2025 and AC hardly helped.
3. Breakfast was repetitive and not much options.
4. Initially gave us some rooms which were difficult to access as we had to climb up stairs with two pushchairs. However this was resolved the next day thankfully!
5. Requested pillows however after several calls to reception we gave up and asked the cleaners the next day who did bring one in the end.
Overall, not the worst experience but not a great one. We would probably not stay at this hotel again there are other decent hotels around the area. This was a last minute booking for us.

We recently stayed at Hotel Almoggar (Oct 2025) and had a mixed experience. The animation staff were absolutely amazing — full of energy, creativity, and warmth. They really brought the place to life and made the stay extremely memorable. Breakfast was a highlight too, especially the omelettes which were fresh, tasty, and cooked to perfection.
On the downside, the room was quite basic and could have been cleaner. It served its purpose but lacked attention to detail. Having said that though, it was still good value for money. Some areas of the hotel are definitely showing their age and would benefit from upgrading to match the vibrant atmosphere created by the animation staff. The uploaded photo (taken on the large roof terrace/balcony with sea views) shows just how well-situated it is: steps from the marina, kasbah, and beach, making it an ideal base for exploring. We’re already looking forward to returning, and next time we’ll opt for one of the upgraded rooms—they’re more modern, and definitely worth the extra cost.
