We recently stayed at Hotel Almoggar (Oct 2025) and had a mixed experience. The animation staff were absolutely amazing — full of energy, creativity, and warmth. They really brought the place to life and made the stay extremely memorable. Breakfast was a highlight too, especially the omelettes which were fresh, tasty, and cooked to perfection.
On the downside, the room was quite basic and could have been cleaner. It served its purpose but lacked attention to detail. Having said that though, it was still good value for money. Some areas of the hotel are definitely showing their age and would benefit from upgrading to match the vibrant atmosphere created by the animation staff. The uploaded photo (taken on the large roof terrace/balcony with sea views) shows just how well-situated it is: steps from the marina, kasbah, and beach, making it an ideal base for exploring. We’re already looking forward to returning, and next time we’ll opt for one of the upgraded rooms—they’re more modern, and definitely worth the extra cost.

This is the second time i stayed in Agadir, i find this is the better location as you are further away from the people trying to sell you stuff on the streets. They are harmless but it can get a bit much. You are also closer to shops and restaurants.
We had a lovely clean room, with a balcony and a big bathroom. The pool was also great as it was nice and deep which you don't see often (they are often too shallow for a good swim)
My only real grudge is the food and restaurant service
The food is average at best, with really not very many options. Not even so much as a fry in sight. I found the rice very mushy and sticky and the pasta overcooked. It wouldn't be so bad if there were more options to chose from, but if you dont like certain foods from that already limited choice, you have to pile your plate with the same food that's just about edible. The breakfast is very bread heavy and the juice is watered down so also not very nice.
For dinner you have to buy your own drinks (about 15dh for a can) however the restaurant staff are unattentive and you are lucky to get a drink untill you are halfway through your food, even if you approach them for one. One night we went without one because we were just too far into our food to even bother getting one.
Overall the room, location and pool is great, it's just the food situation letting it down.

An unforgettable stay thanks to Walid!
Our experience at the hotel was absolutely wonderful, and a huge part of that was thanks to Walid (Dodo) from the entertainment team. He truly went above and beyond to make sure every guest was having a great time. Walid is incredibly kind, funny, and full of positive energy — the kind of person who instantly brightens your day.
Whether it was during the daily activities or the evening shows, he always made sure everyone felt included and entertained. His warm personality and amazing sense of humor really stood out and made our stay even more special.
Thank you, Walid, for making our vacation so memorable — you’re a real star of the hotel! 🌟

I booked this hotel a year ago. This year I booked another in Agadir, which I checked out the next day to return to Club Almoggar. They were really accommodating and helpful. It’s a really nice hotel and a perfect location. Staff is superb! The rooms are super clean and yes, they may need some upgrades but I realised the hotel is making improvements. Very relaxing atmosphere, good food and great views! Really good value for money. Thanks!

Be aware of this place!
We arrived at 8PM after the 12h trip from Poland and we were refused to get checked-in due to not having a marriage certificate with us...
There was no such information at the website of the hotel, nor at booking through which we had it booked and paid. We were checking that information prior our vacation, especially with info that Moroccan government abolished the requirement to have it, especially from tourists! The staff was unpleasant and they didn't care of solving our issue. They just left us on the street at night with no solution.
I have requested a refund, or at least a written confirmation of a refusal of check is so I could present it to booking but I got none as I was told the lady who takes care of booking is off.
Such a ridiculous situation. We found an alternative hotel nearby and nobody care for such nonsense.
I highly recommend to avoid this place at all cost.
