Very nice hotel in the middle of being updated. Decent amount of free on street parking in front and rear of hotel. Food in general was hot and plentiful and good variety. Most importantly, no dodgy tummy. Start of season had no entertainment other then music videos on TV. Cocktails are ok, same for wines. You can have red or white sangria, both very nice. No problems with the staff, found them all to be very friendly and helpful. Overall a very nice place to stay

This hotel does exactly what it says on the tin and more. We often book four or five star places around the world from las Vegas, New York, Dubai, this was a very different booking. It was cheap and cheerful breakaway in the sun 2 hours away from the UK. As a three-star it was clean, the staff were friendly, the food was tasty. The rooms were dated but the building is old and it hasn't been fully refurbished for over 10 years, but they were clean and bedding was really soft and good quality. The bathrooms do make a noise, especially when you're flushing the drains all gurgle together, and it can be quite noisy hearing neighbours, the road and other floors. But that's to be expected with tile flooring and main Road location. The pool is cleaned daily there isn't huge amount of sun lounges but you're able to get something everyday and just move around with the sun and come and go as you like. You don't need to hog the beds with your towels. The location is amazing. 2 minutes away from a beautiful beach I felt very safe. We were very impressed with this bargain basic hotel, and we would come again. The staff work so hard and are always friendly and pleasant. Thank you Atismar Hotel.

The hotel is ok. The food is not great at all. But the staff are amazing. Big shout out to all of them. They are always helpful and friendly. This was our 3rd time in Portugal in 2025. Massive thanks to them all. Tatiane in the bar is absolutely brilliant and so funny as all.the other staff. They make this hotel good

Don't go to this hotel if use wheelchair. Nor if struggle to walk as nothing around for 2.5Kilometers There's currently building works going on in hotel and due to size of hotel it isn't quiet... I was six levels away (apparently) and could hear the drilling plain as if next door. Workmen throughout the hotel. Building site made it unsafe for me to stay on my holiday and required me to leave 5days early and hotel refusing to refund unused services dispite not being equipped to have a. Wheelchair in hotel. The wheelchair wouldn't fit in lift (and mine is small) there's only 1 lift to level 11 so could only go by myself and got stuck on building site for 10minutes with help and couldn't escape as in wheelchair and lift wouldn't move. I couldn't even wheel into room I had to get out before closing door to be able to get in room and bathroom not equipped to support medical needs diapite informing before travel and checking after seeing review of Building work and was told there was no building work on going at hotel but that wasnt true. Even trying to get a drink the only pop available is full fat coke or tango or water. Drink is strawberry daiquiri (not nice) and spirits. There's no snacks on for all inclusive and if you want anything else there's a vending machine across the main road. There is a corner shop which had 150 items in shop but is more for locals then tourists and the nearest store is ahalf mile down a cobbled street. So was difficult to go out and stay at hotel. I was unsafe so needed to leave. I really wouldn't suggest this hotel if your in a wheelchair. They arnt equipped to support and when issues arise they dont resolve we were left to figure it out and all we could do was order food in as dispite being told snacks and drinks on arrival we were made to go to vending machine which only has 3 options which is shocking if going to use as main access to ammnaties. It's disappointing as view and space amazing for someone without my needs but when informed of needs and wont support left with no choice but to leave early. And hotel refused to refund dispite not being able to accomodate for medical needs already informed of.
