This was a very enjoyable stay, the views are outstanding from pretty much anywhere in the hotel, including the balcony and especially from the rooftop bar area which is well lit at night. The man in charge of the entertainment is fantastic, caters to crowds of all ages. The food was good, the salad items are very fresh and tasty. The bar staff are very warm and friendly. The reception staff were very helpful. Everywhere was always exceptionally clean and tidy. Having a shuttle service to the beach and to Heraklion is a real bonus. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars is our bathroom light didn't work which we mentioned to reception but unfortunately this wasn't fixed.

I was a little worried coming after reading the reviews but after a day here, I already knew I didn’t need to listen to the reviews. Service was amazing, staff were helpful and funny, food was very good on the all inclusive, and there is a variety of drinks on the menu to choose from. Loved the excursions that we got to choose from, and we had so much help booking them. Only thing I will say is it is a little out the way of some of the town centres but there is a bus that takes you to Heraklion for a very cheap price, as well as a bus that takes you to the beach, and for a little distance, the views of the mountains and the sea were well and truly worth it. I’m not one for change, so going somewhere I have never been before was a little worrying but well and truly worth it. Will definitely make this a place to go to in the future! Me and my partner loved it!

Panorama Village & Hotel Agia Pelagia AWFUL !! DO NOT BOOK 918238528 If anyone's thinking of booking this hotel, I Strongly advice you to not. This hotel is absolutely disgusting. A human had weed up the lift on the 4th day we were there, we advised the hotel straight away as I stood in the wee. The hotel didn't clean it up, in fact someone else did it again the next day! Told the hotel again. Nope, not cleaned up. On the day we were leaving (6 days after we first found it) IT WAS STILL THERE. the lifts were absolutely covered in wee. It absolutely stunk on 4 different floors (baring mind this is the ONLY lift) in this hell hole. The food isn't cook, it also isn't labelled. The poor kids have no where to go throughout. Photos of the "children's swimming pool" and it's absolutely disgusting. Sams cocktails were grim, look at the state of it. The pools are all broken, I actually ended up cutting my foot whilst being in there. The hotel is filthy. Lots of and lots of broken things. CCTVs pointing into peoples rooms/ balcony's!! Credit to Fabio the entertainment team, if you're watching this GO SOMEWHERE NICER AND USE YOUR PEOPLE SKILLS SOMEWHERE NICE!!! THIS IS NOT A CHILDRENS HOLIDAY!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE UNLESS YOY WANT THEM TO GET A DISEASE OR WORSE!! Everything at this hotel is BROKEN. Be careful your children don't climb up onto the pool or walk past and fall through the glass and drop down a very VERY big drop. The kids club is full of mould, damp and broken tiles and glass. If you can call it that!! The children's pool is full of dirt and bugs 24:7, never cleaned. The adults pool are all BROKEN, the stairs fell off whilst we were there. We have videos of how broken they were!!! Look at the photos of how dirty and disgusting the place is. Honestly, not sure how it's 4 stars, probably mainly fake reviews. Don't let the photos of the website draw you in!! THEY DONT LABEL FOOD AND ITS NOT COOKED!!! THE SHOP IS NEVER OPEN WITHER THE PHOTOS SAY IT ALL.

Don't bother. The poor reviews are the truth, if you can change your hotel, do it now. Food is inedible. No signage so not sure what the slop actually is. No glasses for drinks. Fizzy drinks are flat. Never any pepsi in the machines despite telling the manager each day. The food is like warm at best. There are trays of food waiting to be put out that have clearly been cooked much earlier. Clearly this is an issue they have often as there's a microwave available to be used. Some items are charged extra such as fruit juice. No ice creams or snacks other than at meal times. Disappointing that kids can't get ice cream for around the pool. No ice for drinks therefore often warm. Anyone that says the food is nice clearly hasn't been anywhere decent. It was that bad that despite paying a fortune to stay here, we have eaten out 3 times out of 6 days. The food nearby is much nicer and not overly expensive. It is a shame that this restaurant does such a disservice to cretian food. Air con isnt used, restaurant is boiling with lots of flies everywhere. Food isn't covered so flies are sitting in the food. Room was upgraded however only 2 small shelves and 8 hangers for a family of 4 to store clothes on. Room is only cleaned every 2 days and this only consists of a clean top sheet and clean towels. No glasses moved, nothing actually cleaned. No tea/coffee facilities. Balcony is a health and safety hazard. The decking is old with lifted planks and nails stuck up. Pools were OK, we managed to get sunbeds each day however the decent beds were taken by 7am. Entertainment is non-existent apart from a poor mini disco. Constant queue at the bar taking 20 mins to be served throughout the day/evening. Location: 10 mins walk from the beach however you have to walk along a winding dark road with no pavement. It is then a hill approx 30 degree incline to the beach. The village is not walking distance unless you want to get hit by a car. This is more like a 25 min walk down an even more treacherous road. Most definitely not suitable for kids and even as adults, this is simply dangerous. Taxis are difficult to get back but if you do manage it, it costs 10 euros each way. The hotel is not pram friendly or wheelchair friendly. There is no way to get round the hotel unless you a physically fit as there are stairs everywhere. Other than the lifeguards and a couple of reception staff, the majority of workers are simply rude. First night, WiFi didn't work. Power also turned off at various points throughout the week meaning things didn't charge and/or air con turned off so the room was a sauna. I have stayed in many all inc Hotels around the world, visited many different places and this is by far the worst I've experienced if you consider the cost and the facilities offered. This is a 3* hotel at best.
