First of all Thank You to Miriam who was wonderful, considerate and so friendly. The other front desk workers never looked up when we walked in or acknowledged us in any way. The quieter location of the hotel near the beach was very nice with lovely views from the upper floors. We were originally places in Suite 001 - do NOT stay in that room. Its moldy and dark and full of insects. Disgusting. Refuse the basement suites if they place you there. Miriam was very helpful in upgrading our room after our first horrible night in suite 001. The place is old, it is very dated and crumbling but the pool is nice. Better than staying in all the noise in town. Just stay upstairs.

Spacious rooms with ocean views. Staff super helpful and friendly. Rooms clean but a little dated. Washer room but no washing machine in our 1 bed apartment. Little kitchenette with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Just back from a 10 day stay at the almar, we had booked the premium suite and it was great, much bigger than the photos showed. We had mentioned in our initial email that it was a special wedding anniversary, and when we got into the room there was a bottle of champagne 🍾 nice touch. Also after a few days we mentioned that there was no shade at all on the balcony and within half an hour there was a house maid at the door with an umbrella for us. The weather was great, much hotter than we expected and the private pool was great for cooling down in. Very friendly staff and the room was cleaned and beds made every day. Would definitely recommend even though only self catering there is plenty of nice places nearby to eat and just a short walk down to the old town where there is an abundance of restaurants and bars. The room was great, much bigger than expected and had everything you needed

This place was clean, we ordered a room for three, but still i had to sleep on the couch which is a little downside. Not far from the sea which makes this hotel have a great location! I would recommend this to other people.
