This hotel is amazing.
The breakfast is a 10 out of 10, there is everything you could possibly need, from typical local food to muesli and fresh fruits.
The staff is amazing and very helpful and accommodating.
We upgraded to the rooftop room and it was amazing, the view was great and we had a secluded rooftop terrace. 10 out of 10!
The pool areas are great as well and there is a lot of space.
The location overall is great as well, in about 2 minutes you are at the beach or at the Main Street.
Overall experience 10 out of 10.

It was my first time traveling alone, which was very exciting, but I felt completely taken care of at Hotel Dunas. The service was excellent and the staff were polite and attentive. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and all the local attractions — absolutely perfect! I’ll definitely be coming back.
A big thank-you to all the staff for their wonderful service.

While I want to begin by acknowledging that the hotel staff were polite and generally had a good attitude, this is unfortunately where the positives end.
We booked this hotel as a couple through Jet2, fully aware that it was marketed as a lively destination. However, what we experienced went far beyond “lively” — it was chaotic, inappropriate, and completely unmanaged.
On our very first day, a group of young German men dominated the pool area, shouting across the pool and engaging in vulgar behavior. One man exposed another by pulling down his shorts and then proceeded to touch him inappropriately — all in full view of other guests, including women and children. This was not just immature; it was offensive and completely unacceptable.
On another day, a different group of young men were chanting, shouting, and drinking excessively in the pool, making it impossible for anyone else to enjoy the facilities. There was no intervention from staff.
We also had to endure guests blasting their own music from personal speakers, both poolside and from balconies, clashing with the hotel’s music and destroying any chance of relaxation. Again, no action was taken.
What’s worse, these disruptive groups appeared to receive preferential treatment — including free bar snacks — while the rest of us were left to tolerate their behavior.
The hotel infrastructure didn’t help either. The lift in reception was unreliable, often stalling or failing to open unless you repeatedly pressed the button. The TV in the room had no functioning English channels.. Doors were constantly slamming and shouting continued well into the night.
The hotel clearly caters almost exclusively to German guests — from the newspapers in the bar to the breakfast options, which were lukewarm and uninspired.
The pool bar food was passable, and the room itself was clean and spacious. However, the lack of a sink in the toilet (it was oddly placed in the main room) was inconvenient and unhygienic.
The only real positive was the location — close to the beach, bars, and restaurants — but that alone does not make up for the overall experience.
I understand that a lively resort will attract a certain crowd, but what we encountered was far beyond rowdy. It was disruptive, inappropriate, and completely unmanaged. The hotel failed to provide a safe and relaxing environment for all guests. Until management takes serious steps to control guest behavior and enforce basic standards, I would strongly advise couples and families to look elsewhere.

Nice accommodation with all very nice and friendly personell willing to help you with a smile!
The room we booked was relatively good and clean. The balcony however far too small for us long Dutchmen.
Furthermore be adviced that the whole hotel, including balcony and swimming pool areas are non-smoking.
Naturually no problem, but for us as smokers a kind of small disappointment.....
But if you wish to relax on a nice and friendly location I would surely recommend this hotel!

Second time we booked this hotel and let me start by saying the rooms are clean and breakfast is good.
But.
The 3 person rooms are just as big as the 2 person room with an extra bed and barely any space to move or put your suitcase down.
We stayed for 5 days this year and didn't have proper airconditioning for 3 days. And it was 28C in the room at night. We tried calling the reception, after not answering 3/4 times the reception decided to unhook the phone. Not the service i expected, to be honest.
Also the wifi does connect but the internet doesn't even work.
2/5 stars wouldn't recommend right now unless they resolve these issues.
