My friend and I stayed for 4 days. Overall impressed with the value for money for this hotel. The food was great (sushi night was a favourite!). The rooftop pool was gorgeous in the 30 degree heat. 22 minute taxi (€17) from Palma centre. 2 min walk from the beach.
In terms of the staff, we thought the chefs were friendlier than the front of house staff. So service was okay, some better than others.
The biggest let down was the rooms outlook… straight at a wall. This really disappointed me as we purchased a balcony room, not expecting to not be able to see at least the sky let alone a decent city view. Then looking down from the rooftop, I could see empty balcony rooms. My recommendation would be to offer the best rooms when they are available and even offer upgrades for goodwill. It may encourage people to return. As based on this and this only, I wouldn’t pick this hotel again. You should be able to see the sky and be exposed to natural sunlight when you wake up in the morning, it’s essential for well-being. Or maybe I’m picky as an architect.
However, overall the hotel is worth the price.

Not 1 email was sent to advise us that HM Alma was closed for refurbishment. We arrived at a closed hotel to find a notice to say they have moved us to HM Gran Fiesta. We incurred another taxi expense and time wasted.
We were on a cycling trip, and our bicycles were booked at the previous hotel. They told us they will cover the taxi fee so we ordered UBER. They told us Uber wasn't a taxi that they cover.
We were 3 friends in a room, the shower was part of the bedroom, making it very uncomfortable for all 3 of us.
Absolute joke, I've never had such a bad experience.

The best hotel experience I’ve ever had!
From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for. The chefs were incredible – they personally made sure all my dietary restrictions were taken into account, and there was always warm gluten‑free baguette and delicious sweets waiting for me. The food was outstanding, with plenty of tasty options to choose from, and every meal felt like a special experience.
What really impressed me was how the staff went above and beyond to make me happy. Their attention to detail and kindness made my stay unforgettable. 10/10 – highly recommended!

Great hotel, we were initially placed in room 109, that room was dissapointing, no view, always dark and quite small. The staff was kind enough to move us to the 5th floor after 2 days and it was a different story, bigger, brighter.
The staff is always smiling and helpfull, food was decent although not really 4-star hotel material. We stayed a week and every day we had 90% the same breakfast served, luckly we didn’t get the all inclusive pack.
Coffee was terrible, I expected more.
The location is great, very close to the beach, the hotel is clean and always smells nice.
Although TV is not that important, sometimes I like to watch some youtube before I sleep, the room 109 didn’t have a smart TV, the hisense smart TV in 515 couldn’t connect to youtube, alot of the tv channels in the cable network were german…for that price you would expect more
