We spent 6 nights here at the end of March in room 907. We had a great time here, all staff hardworking, helpful and friendly. The food, well, what can I say, just brilliant. We haven't stayed all inclusive for years but couldn't get over the amount of choice and quality of the food available. Each evening was a theme night such as Asian, Spanish and Hindu, some food cooked fresh in front of you and so much choice of meats, fish, vegetables, salads, fruits, pulses, rice, yogurts, puddings, cakes, cheese, breads and crackers, the list is endless. The restaurant staff super great, they work so well as a team and are quick to remove plates once you're finished. The place is super clean, and the chefs make regular appearances too. Reception staff, bar staff, cleaners and gardeners all very helpful and friendly. Pool area great, plenty of beds and shade when you need it. Our room had a patio that had the sun from morning til night and it was cleaned daily. Only a 15 minute walk to the beach taking the short cut just across the road from the hotel, but there's a courtesy bus if you prefer or taxi. All in all if we return to Lanzarote we would come back to this hotel. Thank you for a lovely few days.

Just back from my 2nd visit here. Once again our family loved it. 2 adults and 3 kids between 4 and 9. I just don't see how people can grumble. We love it. Our youngest 2 had a great time again in the kids club, the oldest loved being able to go up to the football pitch. They all loved the freedom of picking up their own snacks and drinks from the snack bar,
The pools are refreshingly good when trying to escape the hot sun 🥵
The restaurant was always different, a perfect temperature and general great quality. The entertainment team works so hard and put on a great show throughout the day and at the disco for the kids. The cocktails are very tasty but I'm not sure how much alcohol is actually in them as after a day of drinking them you don't get much of a buzz.
The staff in general are absolutely first class. We had an incident where our child's comforter/teddy was mistakenly removed by the cleaners ( it was bundled up in bed clothes). We assumed it was gone forever. It belongs to our eldest and while old and tatty it had huge sentimental value. The young girl at reception and the cleaning staff were amazing in looking for it and by miracle we were able to get it back. Such a huge relief.
Overall this is our 3rd year at HL, we stayed at Rio in year 1 and we enjoyed our 2nd visit here. I wouldn't hesitate in coming back here again. 👌

We stayed at the hotel at the start of April and were really impressed with it. Reception was efficient. The grounds are beautiful and well looked after. There is plenty space between the villas which helps with the relaxed atmosphere. The villas itself was basic but clean and well equipped for an all inclusive hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom and each room was well portioned.
The pool was sunk in from ground level giving it shelter from the worst of the winds. We found the small pool chilly but still warm enough for swimming in all day, the large pool was very cold in the morning but ok the afternoon. The pool bar has efficient service and entertainment was good and not too intrusive or noisy.
The food was the best part for us. Breakfast and lunch was a good selection, the more local food was always good. We never really tried the more British food. The evening buffet was fantastic, with a different theme every night and always tasted fantastic. Lots of options and always a good selection of salads, cheese and meat to compliment it. The all inclusive wine was ok, beer was Amstel so decent enough.
Staff throughout the hotel were pleasant and always helpful, but the buffet and bar staff stood out with both how hard they worked and always taking a moment to engage with the guests.
In terms of negatives, my only comments would be they could benefit from new towels in the rooms. There is no free WiFi outside reception and it's quite expensive to buy a pass. We opted for a local e-sim instead.

The hotel was average. The gym on site is very well equipped and modern, but the hotel itself, is okay. The hotel barely plays any music during the day around the pool, so it is somewhat too quiet.
Food was okay, variety not too bad and loads to offer.
Reception staff are good, but sometimes it does take long to get checked in or seen because the checking in process is quite long.

The Good -
Lovely cute bungalows set on pretty lawns.
Big, clean pool.
Friendly reception staff.
Good location if you like a little walk to and throw the main strip of Playa Blanca.
The bad
Towels provided in the rooms are horrible. They smell like they have been washed in food and all coming apart. They all need replacing. This does include the all inclusive pool towels too.
The sun lounges are not nice - Half are broken so you end up swapping them over most mornings, they are dirty with broken plastic in areas.
The food isn’t ‘great’. Most of it cold and dry but then again, I am quite fussy when it comes to food so I didn’t expect too much however I have stayed in other 4 stars locally and the food was so much nicer.
The rooms are cleaned daily but not to a high standard. I think they just mop the floors with bleach and thats about it.
Over all a nice stay and the weather was beautiful but I doubt very much I would stay in this hotel again.
