In truth I’m not too sure where to begin this review as our stay exceeded all expectations.
I guess to give it some balance it would be fair to point out what we felt were some very tiny areas for improvement as well as highlighting all the great things about this hotel has to offer.
First impressions when entering the hotel are impressive - clean, spacious and bright.
Check in was on the lower ground floor- this was quick and efficient- we did have a laugh with the lady on reception when she realised all the printed information she had provided was in Spanish - no damage done and it was all sorted with a big smile…..
Our room - 1st floor overlooking the sea . Wow what a view!! It was spacious, clean, plenty of storage, fridge, safe and a good size TV.
Some people have previously commented about the lack of English channels on the TV - although not plentiful you can view BBC 1 & 2, the main ITV channels plus Sky News - not a fantastic range but why would you holiday here just to watch TV? It honestly isn’t a problem.
My only 2 very minor observations about our stay were about the room - unless you go for higher grade room there is no facility for hot drinks……a kettle would be good. That said we spotted this before travelling and packed a small travel kettle, tea bags etc and purchased milk in the local shop - job done 👍
The other item was rather than a traditional double bed it’s two large single beds pushed together - whilst we both found them to be extremely comfortable they did tend to separate/ move apart. We did wonder how any young romantic honeymoon couple might manage if the beds separated? It conjures up all sorts of amusing images…….all joking aside this is the only negative things we could find.
Dining - WOW - absolutely overawed with the fantastic range, choice and quality on offer for the buffet breakfast and dinner - I’ll try to post some pictures or video shortly - if not just head over to You Tube - there are quite a few video reviews there……
The waiters were just brilliant - drinks service, clearing dishes - nothing was too much trouble for them.
The bar was used and in fairness drinks did not appear to be over priced.
There is a very large outdoor pool and more sun beds than you could ever imagine possible.
Evening entertainment - not something we over indulged in but did see the flamenco dancers one evening. We did notice two nights were given over to showing Champions League football - not being huge football fans we made alternative plans (not a criticism - it just isn’t our thing).
There is an indoor pool and gym etc on the lower ground floor.
Outside the hotel - the beach is right outside across a grassed area and promenade.
Local facilities: local bus stops right outside the front entrance - just hop on and off with credit/ debit card - a return trip to Palma costing about €10 each way for two people , plenty of local shops with a larger Carrefour about 15 mins walk, local bars/ cafes although not all open yet are just a few minutes either in Sa Coma and S’Illot.
In fact Sa Coma is in the middle of three resorts Cala Millor, Sa Coma & S’Illot - all in walking distance but there is the local busses and road train connecting them.
In fact lots of local walks if you want to get out and about - just get out Google maps and go explore……
Glass Bottom Boat trips available to book - again just outside the hotel on the promenade.
From a personal perspective we would like to thank the hotel for the totally unexpected gesture of a champagne breakfast on my wife’s birthday and when we returned to our room later in the day there was a bottle of sparkling wine awaiting us - she was absolutely delighted to receive such a level of hospitality.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

It was my birthday and the staff had arranged a champagne breakfast for us a very nice thought. The hotel is immaculate and the staff are so helpful, pleasant and professional definitely staying here again.

Beautiful hotel in a great location with wonderful staff. The food was first-class. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools. Decent entertainment most evenings.

We have stayed over a week in this hotel and we have enjoyed the wonderful sea view from our room. The hotel is really quiet and very good for relaxing. Food was great and offered in a wide variety of choices during breakfast and dinner. The pool was also great and the distance to (public) beach is as good as it can be. You just walk out from the pool and you're there.
The staff in the hotel is very nice and friendly, alway happy to help and advise. Also there are many shops and restaurants nearby.
I can surely recommend this place is you want busy location with a lot of stuff happening (and a lot of people).

Went to Mallorca on holiday for the first time last week for a couple of days, and was fortunate enough to have stayed at the Hipotels Mediterráno in Sa Coma.
Upon arrival, the team at the reception area were welcoming and provided useful information. As well as taking the cases up to the rooms and answered any other queries.
There are several activities to partake in, shows to watch in the evenings, gym access, relaxation at the spa and two swimming pools (indoor and outdoor).
All of the staff are absolutely amazing, met so many great people who always gave 110% and genuinely cared about keeping the guests happy at all times.
The management team were great to have interacted with, as they always had the time to talk to the hotel guests and appreciated all of the positive feedback that was given. Even having had the opportunity of speaking to the director was a brilliant opportunity, he really was very approachable and friendly!
As for the other guests, it was pleasing to have seen as to how well-mannered they were and even in the bar area.
Hipotels Mediterráno, it truly was a pleasure and hopefully I shall be back. The entertainment and hospitality is what makes this hotel outstanding!
