We have stayed in many hotels across the United Arab Emirates, but this was our first time at Rixos in Ras Al Khaimah and it truly exceeded all expectations.
The overall offer is absolutely fantastic. The beaches are beautiful, clean, and perfectly maintained. The sea is wonderful and ideal for swimming, and the water activities add even more fun for both adults and children.
A special thank you to Shahbaz at the beach, who reserved our beach spots for us every single day. Thanks to him, we could fully relax and enjoy our holidays without any stress. The entire staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
The kidsclub and fitness-/ activity team is outstanding. Every day we were able to join different activities, for adults as well as for children. There is always something happening, and you never get bored. The variety of pools ensures that everyone finds their perfect spot, whether you want action or relaxation.
The animation team delivers highly professional evening shows, and the food is excellent from A to Z. The quality, variety, and presentation are impressive.
We can highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back. A truly memorable stay.

I had a lovely experience orient restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making the whole dining experience truly enjoyable.
A special thank you to Imane, who was our server—she was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Biju and Nichael were also fantastic and very welcoming. The whole team created a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

My stay at Rixos Al Mairid was overall acceptable, but unfortunately it did not meet the standard I have come to expect from the Rixos brand. Having previously stayed at Rixos Bab Al Bahr, I can confidently say that the overall guest experience there is significantly better and would be my recommended choice.
The stay started with a disappointing delay in receiving our room, which affected the first impression of the hotel. In addition, our luggage was misplaced at the reception area, causing unnecessary inconvenience and stress before we could properly settle in.
What was even more concerning was the attitude and conduct of Lana Kuka. Her approach to dealing with guests was unprofessional, dismissive, and lacked the level of customer care expected from a luxury hospitality brand. Customer satisfaction and effective guest communication should be fundamental aspects of any guest relations role, yet this was not reflected in our interaction.
Furthermore, the cleanliness and room condition fell below expectations. During our stay, we found both a lizard and insects inside the room, which is unacceptable for a hotel positioning itself as a premium resort. This raised concerns regarding housekeeping standards and pest control measures.
Another issue was the overcrowding in the resort’s dining facilities due to the closure of the main restaurant during our stay. As a result, the main restaurant was extremely busy, making it difficult to find seating and enjoy meals comfortably. The increased number of guests in a limited dining space also led to higher noise levels, creating a hectic atmosphere that detracted from the overall resort experience.
While there were some positive aspects to the stay and we were still able to enjoy parts of the resort, the combination of the delayed check-in, lost luggage, poor customer service (from Lana Kuko), room hygiene issues, and the overcrowded and noisy dining experience meant that the experience fell short of what I would expect from Rixos. Based on my experience, I would recommend Rixos Bab Al Bahr over Rixos Al Mairid for guests seeking the level of service and quality typically associated with the Rixos brand.

We had a really lovely stay at Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah. The resort is beautiful, well maintained, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations.
The staff were always friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Monir at the X Lounge looked after us during the entertainment nights and made the evenings very enjoyable. Emran kept our room extremely clean and always made sure we had everything we needed. He always did an amazing design with the towels!
The concierge team were also excellent. Ragbir went out of his way to help us with a baby car seat issue, which he really didn’t need to do, and his kindness made a big difference to a bit of a stressful time with amour car rental.
The food was a highlight. Lunch at Toro Loco was great, and we really enjoyed our dinners at Orient and Toro Loco, they were delicious. Aneesh from Toro Loco gave us such a great service.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great service, and we would happily return.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation for Amila at Rixos Ras Al Khaimah. Amila is an exceptionally friendly, positive, and kind-hearted person who made our stay truly special.
Every day, he surprised us with beautiful and creative decorations at our sunbeds. Sometimes he created hearts out of seashells, and other times he made elegant swans from towels. These thoughtful gestures showed how much care and effort he puts into making guests feel welcome and appreciated.
We could also see how incredibly hard-working and dedicated Amila is. No matter how hot the weather was, he was always working diligently to keep the beach and pool area clean, organized, and welcoming for all guests. His work ethic and commitment never went unnoticed.
Amila always took the time to talk with us, making every conversation enjoyable and meaningful. His warm personality, genuine kindness, and dedication to guest satisfaction made a lasting impression on us. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure that we felt comfortable and happy throughout our stay.
In our opinion, Amila has outstanding people skills and talents that go far beyond his current role. We believe that his abilities, professionalism, and natural way of connecting with guests would make him an excellent fit for positions such as Reception, Guest Relations, or even as a waiter. Employees like Amila are a great asset to any company and deserve opportunities for further training and career development so that their full potential can be recognized and utilized.
It was a real pleasure for my fiancé and me to get to know Amila and spend time talking with him. Through his kindness, helpfulness, and positive attitude, he made us feel genuinely welcome and comfortable throughout our holiday.
In fact, Amila played a significant role in our decision to return to Rixos Ras Al Khaimah in the future. Team members like him create memorable experiences that guests never forget.
We sincerely hope that Amila never loses his warmth, positivity, and good-hearted nature, as these qualities make him a truly special person and an outstanding member of the Rixos team.
