I had another amazing stay at the Hilton Hotel Nicosia, as always. The service, comfort, and overall experience of the hotel are excellent.
However, the hotel is seriously let down by the appalling condition of the external swimming pool changing rooms and shower facilities. The smell is horrendous, the level of cleanliness is very poor, and the space feels unhygienic to the point where I do not feel comfortable changing or showering my children there. It is dirty, unpleasant, and completely unacceptable for a five-star hotel. The soap dispensers are still hanging off the walls, exactly as they were on previous visits, showing a clear lack of maintenance.
The gym changing rooms are equally disappointing, with most of the lockers broken or unusable. Overall, the facilities in both sets of changing rooms are extremely rundown.
What is most frustrating is that nothing has improved over the last two years. These problems are well established and yet remain ignored. This year, the condition of the swimming pool changing rooms was so bad that it will put me off returning to the Hilton Nicosia in the future.
It’s a real shame, because the hotel itself and the staff are great but the changing facilities are more like a neglected public gym.

Nice and comfortable rooms. Pool area offers a lot of sunbeds and large fluffy towels. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunny weather. Staff is friendly. Lobby is stylish. Free shuttle bus to downtown is offered from Monday to Saturday (except on public holidays). I had short but very pleasant stay here. Supermarket, cafes and restaurants are in walking distance.

Title: Exceptional Service Even in Unexpected Circumstances
We recently stayed at the Hilton Nicosia and had a wonderful experience overall. The rooms were immaculate - spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
During our stay, there was an unexpected gas leak which required the hotel to be evacuated as a safety precaution. While this could have been a stressful situation, the way it was handled was nothing short of impressive. We were kept fully informed throughout, and there was no sense of panic - just calm, clear communication. Staff handed out free water and robes to keep everyone comfortable, and once it was safe to return, we were even offered a complimentary drink as a gesture of goodwill.
Credit must go to the manager for how well the situation was managed - it showed real leadership and care for guests.
Highly recommend the Hilton Nicosia, both for the quality of the stay and the outstanding service.

The Hilton Nicosia staff were incredible, we had our flight cancelled and the hotel took us in, they made provisions for us even when arriving at the hotel 12am at night, food was provided and rooms were assigned to all of us swiftly. Staff was friendly and checking to make sure we were settling in, and have an incredible experience even if it's for 12 hours. Would highly recommend this hotel.
