Family-run hotel, all staff are very welcoming and friendly.
There is a bar/restaurant on site next to the pool which serves good quality for food for a fair price and is open 8am-10pm daily. They also offer room service (at no extra cost) which is a bonus. There is also a small shop on site with basic groceries (food, toiletries and other essentials) which is open 24hrs a day which came in handy, although slightly more expensive than other shops in town.
The room was clean and in good condition upon arrival, and cleaned/replenished frequently throughout. Had everything we needed. The shower doesn't have a full door/curtain so the floor gets quite wet after using it but otherwise no problems with the room.
Free WiFi is available on site and is generally alright however can be temperamental.
Aircon was not included so the room did get quite hot at times, but just about manageable and saved €10/day.
The hotel is located on a large hill and all shops/the beach is a 30minute walk. The hotel does offer a free shuttle service to and from the beach, 3* a day, which was an added bonus and something we didn't know about before coming.
The pool was lovely and hygenic, we always found sunbeds, however alot of them don't have shade or an umbrella.
Overall a great hotel, lovely staff the 3* rating doesn't do it justice!!

Amazing, Friendly and helpful staff, Charlie’s shuttle took us right up to Faliraki’s beautiful beach where you can take boat trips, jet skis, kayaks, and many other water sports!
The hotels pool is beautiful, clear and practically empty despite it being mid August.
Bedrooms were simple but pleasant, with the cleaners coming in every morning!
Thank you for such an amazing stay.

We stayed at Hillside Studios for 10 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The accommodation is basic but had everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom shower did leak over the bathroom floor due to a broken panel seal (there’s no shower door), but it wasn’t a major issue — we just used towels to manage the water.
We had booked a double bed but were given two singles, which wasn’t ideal, but again not a big deal for us. Air conditioning is €10 per night, which we were happy to pay considering how affordable the holiday was overall — and it was definitely needed. Although on the easyjet website it did say air conditioning was included in the price.
There’s a small on-site shop that’s very convenient, even though it’s slightly more expensive than shops in town. The food served at the hotel was reasonably priced for what you get. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, and getting a sun lounger was usually no problem, however there are minimal sun loungers that have shade.
The hotel runs a free shuttle into town at 11:00, 15:00, and 17:00. We felt a later one around 18:00 instead of 17:00 would’ve been more useful. Walking to town takes about 20 minutes via a dirt road, which we didn’t mind, but future guests should be aware as at night time its dark and Taxis back to the hotel cost around €10 for a 5-minute ride, which adds up if you’re heading out often.
The staff were lovely and helpful, though paying by card sometimes felt a bit awkward, with a clear preference for cash, especially for the aircon.
All in all, it was an okay stay. If you’re looking for a simple, budget-friendly base and don’t mind being a bit outside the main town, this is an option to consider. If you want more comfort and accessibility id look elsewhere.

Well we have been disappointed when we realised this hotel is not for families at all. Come in this hotel only if you want to party in Faliraki ( most of the people in the hotel were 18-19) , if you want to come to relax in front of the swimming pool don’t go here either cause people are playing ball in the pool during hours , very loud , well it’s a very nice hotel for people who want to party, not to relax.
I know the hotel is not a 5 stars but the towels for the swimming pool were not very nice.
The room was good , just the cleaning was not done properly, we found chewing gum and hairs inside the fridge , and the mirror was not dry properly full of marks on it.
The good points of the hotel are the food in the kitchen in front of the swimming pool , it was very good and the people who are working there were very nice at the reception.

I am a holiday home host and owner in Puglia (Italy), and since I travel a lot, I know how important positive reviews are for giving visibility to a property. For this reason, this is the very first time in my life that I feel compelled to write a completely negative review.
From August 21st to 25th, I stayed at this property and the experience was disappointing in every possible way.
The owner (I believe his name is Filippo) turned out to be rude, arrogant, and absolutely unfit for this job. The welcome was marked by arrogance and even inappropriate words directed at my girlfriend, which I consider unacceptable and disgraceful.
In my opinion, anyone who chooses to work in tourism should invest in proper cultural and hospitality training, especially in such a beautiful place like Rhodes, which truly deserves better representation. Sadly, with such poor management, the image of the island is damaged.
On top of that, the property had dirty rooms, a lack of organization, and even a power outage from 3 to 5 in the morning. Without doubt, it was one of the worst travel experiences of my life.
Rhodes is a wonderful island that I highly recommend visiting, but I would absolutely not recommend this property to anyone – not even to my worst enemy.
