We had a great week in this hotel, where we’ve stayed several times before. It’s in an excellent position with helpful, friendly staff who certainly work hard on their guests’ behalf. The fabric of the hotel is always being improved, but it retains its character. The buffet offering in the dining room is often excellent and there is plenty of choice to suit the multinational guests. It can be busy though!

The location of the hotel is brillaint. Its a fairly central location within walking distance to the main strip, a little bit hilly but not bad at all. The hotels children menu isnt great in terms of food but there is a wide varietiey available fir adults. The pool bars have a decent menu. The Animation team are brilliant, they have a great range of activities for adults and children during the day and they genuinely look happy to be there. If there was a timetable in the lobby or by the pool it would be great as sometime you can miss the start of something but other than that they were really good. Great location near Playa Dorada and other local amenities. Very clean well maintained grounds and an excellent pool with plenty of loungers. Friendly staff, particularly Animation team and reception. Rooms are well appointed with a small fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and efficient air-conditioning. A drying rack would have been useful. Great powerful shower, though beware that the bathroom door is frosted glass and doesn't fully close or lock so not ideal for privacy. We had a couple of issues during our stay. A ceiling vent in the room leaked and I almost slipped in the water. This was rectified within minutes of it being reported. Small issue with the TV losing signal intermittently.
The food in the restaurant was varied and generally good quality with some vegetarian and vegan options (though individual dishes were not labelled). The restaurant itself could be quite chaotic at service times with a lot of people moving around, noise and queues for popular items. Sometimes difficult to find a table that had been cleaned and reset.
Good accessibility for those with reduced mobility, but there are only 2 small lifts servicing large building and this with larger devices may struggle.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Big clean rooms, plenty of storage. Great balcony too. Not the best view floor 5 room 306, but big hotel. Great location central for town and the marina. Walk across the pool area through the back gate for the beach, town etc, perfect.
Only had breakfast due to the choice of nearby restaurants.
Breakfast choice amazin.
My only bug bear was the wrist band keys, so annoying to gain entry to room & back gate.

Great hotel on the outside. Pool are and bars etc .
Very clean throughout.
But internally dated and very much in need of work. The dining are especially is tatty with dirty chairs, and not enough staff to cope at busy times. Only one hot plate so the queue is always long.
Plenty of cold options, but kitchen really cannot keep up with demand at busy times. Looking at the grill area is not pleasant as it isnt particularly clean. Food is generally the same as most buffets across Spain, so can always find something.
Animation team are very enthusiastic, rooms and bars clean with hardworking staff. But the fabric of the hotel is tired and the cracked tiles, peeling paint etc is now easy to spot without looking too hard. The gym is fine but needs aircon.
Best thing here...the man removing pool towels. Legend.
