Still on holiday here until tomorrow. Upon arrival we were greeted by a fantastic sea view room which was exceptionally large with a huge balcony area. The room facilities are excellent.
The cleaning staff are exceptional as are all of the members of staff that we have had dealings with. Reception staff very helpful as are the restaurant staff. Esepecially Paco in the restaurant who went above and beyond to please the guests. A very friendly and diligent member of staff. Ensuring everyone had everything they wanted. A credit to the restaurant team.
The hotel itself is in need of renovation. Torrential rain all week has unfortunately led to lots of leaks in public areas and also rooms, as well as occasional black outs. The staff, however were very quick to mop up any rain water to prevent any accidents and on hand placing plenty of buckets around. This hotel just needs a renovation makeover to restore it back to a more brighter and appealing accommodation. It is the only thing that let's it down in regards to the 4 star rating. Although its rained all week, we have had a great time and would definitely come back if this place was modernised and updated.

We have just returned from a wonderful four-week all-inclusive holiday at the Estepona Palace Hotel, and we honestly cannot praise it highly enough.
A very special thank you to Sabrina, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Her warmth, professionalism, and personal attention made a real difference and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. We would also like to thank her fantastic reception team, especially Diego, as well as Diana from the customer services team, all of whom provided outstanding, friendly, and efficient service throughout our stay.
It’s also important to recognise how incredibly hard-working all the hotel staff are. From reception and customer services to housekeeping, restaurant staff, and everyone behind the scenes, the dedication and effort of the entire team really shows. The hotel is run with care, pride, and attention to detail, and it creates a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere throughout.
Thank you to everyone at Estepona Palace Hotel for making our long stay so enjoyable and memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in Estepona.

The stay experience was interesting… I was there in February, “off-season”, and it felt like the staff was annoyed I was there. Often getting irritated at the bar, impatient. Also the staff at the food court was interesting - you can only enter with their approval, they take you to the table (dont really think it was necessary). The breakfast was okay, not too much of options, however lunch and dinner was good. Maybe higher diversity of food would be better. The rooms were nice, quite spacious and clean, nothing special about them
. However, there were some specifications which I found weird. For example - the charging ports only worked when the lights were completely on, very annoying. Also they provide a blanket which is made up of a sheet of cloth, then a blanket and another sheet of cloth (like a sandwitch) which was very inconvinient. The location was okay, 40 minute walk to the city itself by the beach, or 8-9 minutes by taxi. Overall would probably not return to this specific hotel but for a budget getaway could be an option.

I don’t understand why this hotel has an average rating of 4.1. It is far better than this. Beautiful grounds right by the sea, stunning communal areas, very good dinner as part of half board (many freshly cooked to order fish and meat choices). Staff are friendly. Everything is superb
We upgraded to the privilege sea view room and it was worth it. You get access to an indoor lounge with a range of drinks (wine, spirits, soft drinks), open all day until 11pm. Also a private terrace with sunbeds and free drinks. A free newspaper each day too.
The only negative points for me were the stained carpets on the corridors to the rooms and the shabby/poorly finished bathrooms. Apart from that the rooms were great. We had a comfy bed, choice of pillows and terrace with sea view. Very quiet at night. Thoroughly recommend this hotel

For the price paid it is excellent. Excellent location, beautiful pool area. Comfortable beds. Quiet at night. Very friendly staff. Special greetings to Lajos! Some parts of the building need renovation, breakfast is not especially good, but the lunch and dinner offer is excellent. 3 types of freshly grilled fish, very high quality tuna tataki one night. Cheap drinks. The price quality relationship is excellent.
