My partner and I recently stayed at the Princess Hotel in Gran Canaria in May 2025, and we couldn’t be more impressed with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly stood out.
The hotel itself is fantastic — the facilities are modern, well-maintained, and there is so much to enjoy. Everything was impeccably clean, which gave us peace of mind and made our stay even more comfortable. We opted for the half board option, and the food exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was nothing short of amazing, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to start our day on the best note. Dinner was also very enjoyable, with a great selection of dishes that were tasty and well-presented.
Overall, our experience at the Princess Hotel was exceptional. The combination of outstanding service, excellent facilities, and quality food made this one of the best vacations we’ve had. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Gran Canaria — it truly offers great value and a wonderful atmosphere. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Holiday review.
We have just spent an amazing week at the Gran Canaria Princess. Having read previous reviews we came with an open mind as we tend not to concern ourselves with a single crack in a tile or that other people coming to the same location have the audacity to speak to each other in thier native tongue. Overall we found the hotel clean, well maintained and with friendly staff only too happy to make our stay enjoyable. Previous reviews make mention of issues with the lifts, stating there are only 2. There are 3 if you count the less obvious single lift usually used by hotel staff. We found the only wait tended to be peak times and was not an issue. Other people have said the food was not varied and lukewarm. Again this was not our experience and had we had concerns about the temperature of the food, Despite that the hotel have a microwave should guests feel the need to nuke their food. We stayed 7 nights and all in all a good hotel.

This is my second time staying at Princess Hotel.
The first time was in 2023, and everything was truly excellent, except for a few minor issues.
However, unfortunately, this time I noticed a clear drop in the quality of the food, with very limited variety. Also, I couldn’t feel the same positive energy and happiness from the staff as before.
The room cleaning service was also not as good as expected.
That being said, I would like to mention that the reception staff and some of the bar staff are still doing a great job and deserve appreciation.
Sadly, this will probably be my last visit to this hotel. I hope my feedback will get the attention of the management, and that Princess Hotel will regain its previous high standards in the future.

Staff are great, room was lovely. The food was good a little bit repetitive though. Air-con wasn’t working. I didn’t mention it to reception because I got a room next to my friend and didn’t want to move. Fortunate weather was too hot. I would recommend this hotel.

Me and my boyfriend just came back from the hotel. We absolutely loved it! The rooms and hotel are kept clean, there’s so many sunbeds available so you won’t have to worry about that. The rooms are a very good size so you don’t feel cramped. There’s entertainments everyday which we love, table tennis, darts, singing, dancing etc etc. we only stayed for a week but next time we will definitely stay for longer. The one issue we did find is the food, theirs is definitely plenty of choice but for picky eaters not so quite, a lot of the food is the same everyday. To use the bar in the middle of the pool you do need all inclusive plus, and most of the cocktails you won’t be able to get without all inclusive plus also, so definitely worth it if you’re a cocktail lover. Another thing, this is definitely not the hotel faults but to worn anyone, we can hear everything from next door from inside our bedroom… people coughing, tv (if they turned up up high) toilet flushing, sex etc etc but apart from that we love it and will definitely be returning!
