This was my first stay at the hotel, but I have heard it is really nice from others who stayed there so as my usual place could not accommodate me I decided to try this out – and was not disappointed.
The welcome at reception was fantastic. Staff are friendly and offered me a Prosecco on arrival. Check in was quick and was directed to my suite. It is on the same floor as reception, so it was nice and quick to find and no need to navigate lifts.
The bathroom - as others have reviewed it is a tight squeeze – but works well and the shower is big. There is no wardrobe but has a large curtain with adequate storage space for clothes to be stored.
The suite has a nice breakfast bar/seating area above the bed where you can eat or chill.
The junior suite had a good view of the pool area. The main pool area has a good number of beds and despite the hotel being busy the beds were never full so you could always get a bed.
They provided a welcome drink of a bottle of wine and snacks with a handwritten card was a nice touch.
Small kitchen but adequate for a small meal. The coffee pods were filled up and the cleaners did a very good job of keeping the place nice and clean.
The TV has a wide selection of channels if you have flown all the way just to watch TV!
The bed area in the main room which is not in a separate room but seems to work well. Bed is very comfortable, and they provide pool towels which you can change at the pool. Nice couch in the suite with a LOT of pillows!
Sink is outside the bathroom but as the bathroom is quite small it would not fit. Nice large mirror!
Overall, a nice stay. I did not have the breakfast there but seemed popular enough with a decent choice. The place is nice and quiet enough, so you are not disturbed. There are 2 gym facilities which had a few people working out so you can fit in a session if you are that way inclined.
Would recommend!

Lovely hotel in a great location, nice quiet street but a short walk to everything. Staff were all great, all very friendly and helpful. We had a south view room which got plenty of sun on the balcony throughout the day and the room itself was large, tidy and clean. Beds were very comfortable and there are even different pillow options! TV in the room allows you to stream from your own device which was a nice bonus. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options hot and cold, and available until 12 noon. Will definitely be staying here whenever we come to Gran Canaria! Would highly recommend

Gold Hotel has a great location, not far from the Yumbo Center, yet in a quiet area. The hotel's retro tropical chic design immediately creats a vacation-like atmosphere. The open inner courtyard, with its large spherical lights, added to the spacious and airy feel.
The pool area is small but well-designed and efficiently utilized, and the pool loungers were exceptionally comfortable for relaxation.
The hotel staff was very friendly throughout our stay.
Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options, along with a live cooking station for egg dishes and waffles. The only minor drawback was the coffee quality, which could be improved. However, the breakfast room and presentation were very appealing.
We stayed for a week in the Master Suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. The small kitchen was a great bonus, especially for a longer stay.
All in all, this is a highly recommended hotel, and we would gladly return anytime in the future.

This is a fabulous adult only hotel. Worthy of the reviews given. This was our second visit opting for a suite over looking the pool on floor two. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff are so discreet and friendly. The breakfast is lovely but crucially is over an extended period until 12 which creates the most relaxing ambiance. Nice to see a few new faces with trainees being introduced to the team. Hot plate team were really good so charismatic . The sun always shines and the team never stop smiling. Sad to leave but we will return.

The hotel is an absolute credit to the whole team that make this a truly beautiful place to stay. Special thanks to Josué and Elisabet who are a real asset to the hotel and superb in their roles.
We booked on a whim having previously stayed at family hotels in Gran Canaria. We arrived just before 10pm and the welcome was perfect. It was twarm, relaxing and super friendly. We were offered a glass of sparkling rose wine which was well received after the long journey…. Our glasses were then refilled prior to heading to our room.
The hotel feels small and private, you feel as if you are in a boutique friendly hotel as against a sanitised corporate property.
The room was awesome, small Kitchenette perfect for making teas, coffees and light snacks… very clean with a touch of class.
The main room area was stylish and quirky. Complimentary glass bowl of sweets were there on arrival alongside a complimentary wonderful bottle of red wine. Both surprising and exceptional.
The staff are the friendliest and most helpful you could wish for.
The breakfast is great with the choice of sitting inside or outside.
We took a gamble in the hotel and hoped it would be good. It turned out to be exceptional and we will be recommending it far and wide.
Loved it. Thank you for helping make it a fantastic holiday.
