We had a truly wonderful holiday at this hotel—it exceeded our expectations in every way! From start to finish, everything was seamless and easy to navigate. The hotel is made up of separate two-story buildings, with no corridors, which significantly reduces noise from neighboring rooms.
The location was perfect: peaceful and well-situated, just a few minutes' walk to both the beach and the city center, but far enough from the noisy bars to ensure a restful stay. Our room was spacious, with a large, comfortable bed, and the blackout curtains created a completely dark environment, giving me the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. We also had a kitchenette with everything we needed to cook, plus a fridge, which was a nice touch.
The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options that changed daily, ensuring there was always something new to try. The bar and entertainment area were located far enough from our room that it remained peaceful. While the pool area could get a bit busy, there was an additional sunbathing lounge that offered a quieter retreat.
What truly made this stay exceptional was the staff—they went above and beyond, always welcoming, friendly, and ready to assist. Overall, it was a fantastic holiday, and I would highly recommend it!

Wonderful hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great sized apartment, that was cool with air con and had everything we needed, including a travel cot for our 6-month old baby. Really lovely swimming pools, with a shallow pool perfect for young children. Pools weren’t heated, but the temperature was fine on sunny days (which is every day on the Canary Islands 😆). Plenty of sun beds too. Super friendly staff; they were always warm and welcoming. Special shout out to Jose who always had an enthusiastic hello for our baby!

Good hotel with decent facilities. Food is reasonable - good breakfast offer, acceptable buffet for evening meal. Some concern over quality and replenishment of evening buffet. Bar service needs improvement as insufficient staff available of an evening. Room cleaning is excellent. Reception staff are first class and very helpful. The location is quiet, although being located at the top of a hill, it is possibly unsuitable for those with mobility problems. The pool area is good with plenty of sunbeds and a pool bar. Choose wisely, but Gloria Izaro is worthy of close examination, probably as B&B.

We stayed for 11 nights and loved the hotel. Good location although on a hill, my wife has asthma and still made it up so not to bad. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are cleaned regularly. We had a room with a big balcony(sunbeds, table, chairs and brolly) but preferred to go use the double bed loungers on the 1st level, which can have a cover for shage if you need it. We were half board but usually prefer to eat out although the 2 or 3 times we did have dinner the food was really good. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Bar area is really nice. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We would definitely use the Gloria izaro again. Thank you for a great stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the Gloria Izaro Club Hotel — it’s a perfect choice for a winter sun holiday. The room was spacious and ideal for a family, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were excellent throughout.
We loved how close it was to both the beach and the town — everything was within easy walking distance, yet the hotel itself remained peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The pool was lovely, and there were plenty of loungers available. The split levels with different longer types was great. The football pitch was used daily by my kids.
The buffet was a highlight, offering a good variety of tasty dishes to suit all preferences. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with a smile.
Overall, we had a brilliant time and would happily return. Highly recommended!
