Had an amazing week on the last week of the season. This apartment is just across the road from San Matias beach which is perfect for families. Friendly staff. Great food and drink available in the drink and very reasonably price. A kids club with an endlessly patient and really friendly activities leader. Perfect for families with primary school aged kids.

My husband and I have just returned home from a lovely 2 week stay here. Room was very clean and had everything you need for a basic stay, the sea view was exceptional (414). Great location overall. Hotel and grounds were very well maintained. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Pool bar was nice with decent prices for food and drink. Lifeguards on duty everyday for added peace of mind for those with children, also on duty was a childrens activity rep. Hope to see you all again next year. Take care.

This is a wonderful place to stay, right next to the beach. Restaurants bars and amenities all close by. Room was lovely too, a beautiful of the sea, although we did pay a bit extra for this sea view room but I'd say to pay that little bit extra if you're able because it is a lovely feeling waking up and looking out to the sea on the balcony. I'd say the only downside is that the Aircon was too much at times and couldnt find any type of heating, mind you, we are on holiday during the middle of october, so I can understand.
The hotel staff were exceptional each and every one of them will go out there way and beyond to assist in anything you may need help with. Food is really good, portions just right, I think its reasonably priced too, considering alot of restaurants and takeaways are quite pricey. The rooms always got cleaned, even if you happened to leave your room after morning housekeeping, there seemed to be an evening(or afternoon). I say this because a few times we were not ready when morning housekeeping had come but would still leave housekeeping sign on front door and would come back in the evening and room would be done up again like new.
The hotel also has a lovely outside pool and indoor pool, indoor pool is just as cold as outside one, but quite refreshing on those very hot days. There is also lifeguards on site during pool opening hours(10am-6pm).
The hotel is a cashless hotel so when you arrive you will need to put money on a fob, which may sound absurd but I think its quite handy. Especially if your a tourist.
Overall I think it is a wonderful hotel and would gladly return again.

Very nice hotel, sea views are great, balconies are average sized, beds comfortable. Rooms have daily cleaning, only downfall here is the Aircon since it isn't very powerful. You can get a disk band from reception to top up with money since the hotel is cashless, any of the desks can scan to check the balance. Good selection of food at the poolside bar, reasonable price and portions very large. They also have a cake of the day (I recommend the apple tart it's amazing!). The bar staff (Maria, antoni and aaron) are very friendly and are always up for jokes, they cannot do enough for you and always welcome you with a smile and a hello. Pool is spacious, never any fighting for sunbeds, plenty of daytime activities for the children and a free section of just beds for a suntrap if you'd like to laze in the sun away from the pool. There's also a free indoor pool (can be a little cold) with a jacuzzi at the poolside (€1 for 10 minutes). Close proximity to bars, restaurants and supermarkets (all within a 15 min walk). Only downfall, is there is no evening entertainment and pool bar closes at 9pm either last food orders 8pm.
Kar Kar
We've been coming to this hotel for as long as I can remember and had always been such an amazing time. We were very disappointed to find out that there is no entertainment and the main bar is completely shut. The pool bar was often closed before half 8 when we would be coming home. Sometimes the two lifeguards would be sitting in at the indoor pool(which is icy cold by the way) the hotel itself was updated a bit (we hadn't been in a few year due to covid) when we first arrived in July the management told me I hadn't booked a sea view (I had the booking on my phone to show) refused for more than 20 mins to give us a sea view room only offering us a room on the 2nd floor that wasn't sea view. I had a tired 3 year old that had been up from 2am and they then said the room we requested was occupied until 6pm and if we took the 2nd floor there was no guarantee we would be changed later on in the day. We stood our ground as we paid more for the sea view and after a jorge made a phonecall all of a sudden there was a sea view room on the 5th floor. Perfect we had a good holiday after that. The aircon wasn't the best but he got maintaince to make it stronger.
Our 2nd holiday back again in aug, was better, they had put me into a room with a lovely sea view and pool view aircon perfect, the bathroom was a disability adapted one 017.
Also room 109 was supposed to be sea view buy is obstructed but you have a lovely pool view.
However my sister who will probably be making her own review also paid for a sea view room and was given 121 which is not sea view or pool view. The cooker didn't work and some other issues she had.
Only the disability adapted room has a sweating brush others have a small dustpan. Cleaners we had were lovely couldn't fault them at all. Oh and there's a laundry room. Reception staff were lovely after the misunderstanding and Maria from the bar was lovely always said ola, toni had a bit of an attitude but he had been there since I was a kid. He had a bit of joke but got very serious very fast.
The ramp up the the hotel is supposed to be wheelchair accessible but it is very hard to use as it is so steep. Never noticed because we didnt need to use it until this time
Such a pity to be writing this review. Wishing the staff all the best
