We had a wonderful week long stay at GF Victoria with our family, including two children aged three and four.
The pool setup is excellent for families. The kids’ pool has toddler appropriate slides as well as bigger slides that older children and adults can enjoy. There is also another pool on the second floor which is deeper, with a very shallow, gently sloping entry that works perfectly for playing safely with younger toddlers.
Breakfast was outstanding. A fantastic buffet with fresh omelettes, pancakes, fruit juices, a wide selection of pastries, eggs cooked in various ways, sausages and much more. Easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had.
We ate at the Amaina Restaurant on two separate evenings and the food was delicious both times. The service was excellent, with very attentive staff who really made a fuss of the children, which made the experience even better.
The mini disco and evening entertainment were decent. I’ve seen better elsewhere, but the staff were friendly and enthusiastic, which made up for it. The kids’ club is very well run and our four year old absolutely loved it.
Facilities are a big highlight. Squash, padel, table tennis and tennis courts are all easy to book and use via the app. The mini golf could do with a revamp, but it’s still perfectly playable. The gym is exceptional for a hotel gym, genuinely one of the best I’ve seen. The spa looked amazing too, although we didn’t get a chance to use it this time.
The rooms are top class. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms made it feel spacious, with plenty of storage for a family of four. Everything was very clean and housekeeping were excellent throughout our stay.
Overall, this really is a top hotel and we would highly recommend it to families. We will definitely be back.

Nice hotel, well presented. Waterpark onsite is great and the lifeguards for it are super friendly. The rooms are kept very clean and they do a turn down service which is a nice touch.
One of the pool waiters took our order on the first day and forgot and then basically called me a liar - when he finally remembered (after my Mrs went up - she ordered) - 45 minutes later we got our drinks...
I was expecting better with the food it was okay. Had better hotel buffets.
Overall it's a good hotel but better in the area in my opinion.

This place has nothing in common with a proper 5* hotel, unfortunately.
We were traveling as a family (4 adults and 1 kid). Booked 3 rooms of the same category and asked for baby cribs to be placed in 2 rooms out of 3.
The hotel considered this as a +1 request and charged 300€ more for each room with the baby bed request.
When we arrived none of the rooms had a baby bed, so we had to wait.
Furniture in the rooms are a bit outdated and sofas are dirty here and there. Ventilation is poor, A/C is noisy.
Room service is the worst ever. They don’t speak proper English & simply hang up on you in case they don’t understand the request. We had to ask reception team for help constantly.
Room service also messed up with orders and constantly delivered food to the wrong room instead of the room we asked (remember, we had 3 different rooms).
Cleaning was also “interesting” spending time playing with the toy of the kid (that was hidden btw).
Management replies to reviews look mainly like fighting back, but it’s ok, I don’t expect much from them based on the level of the hotel.
Being a frequent traveler I know what is the real 5* hotel and always share positive feedbacks based on experience. GF Victoria is not the case.
Advantages of the hotel:
Nice location
Heated pools
Nice restaurant on the 2nd floor
Great valet parking team!

We're just back from a week at GF Victoria and would highly recommend it. TLDR; A very well equipped and presented family friendly hotel.
Myself, my husband, our 2.5 year old and 3 month old stayed in the large Harmony suite. The suite was huge, with a large sitting room and adjoining bathroom with shower, the large master bedroom with in room shower and bath tub and adjoining toilet, and a balcony with hot tub that was accessible from both the bedroom and living space.
The room functioned so well for our family, for both naps and bedtime, the toddler was sleeping in the living room away from us. They provided a cot, bathrobe, slippers, bibs, a toilet step and seat, coloured pencils for her. They also provided a bedside crib for our baby after we had little success using a cot for him.
The room facilities were excellent, two fully stocked mini bar fridges, a microwave and sink, hot tub, daily treats. The harmony suite perks included spa treatments, free mini bar and late check out on departure day. There were slippers, robes, flip flops, hats, chocolates, fruit, beach bag, all left for us.
The breakfast buffet had a huge variety and was excellent quality. They also had a kids area, playground, and plastic crockery and cutlery available. Sometimes the coffee table service was a little slow but nothing a gentle reminder to staff didn't solve.
We had dinner at the poolside restaurant one evening and it was very nice. We availed of very nice welcome drinks in the lobby bar with an excellent pianist playing. Our daughter really enjoyed the baby club, family pool (sloped shallow end perfect for gaining confidence) and mini disco. The staff were extremely friendly, but especially with the babies.
We both enjoyed a complimentary 25 minute massage and 1 hour spa circuit that came with our room. The spa area was quite grubby with a lot of other guests food and drinks left to sit, a little disappointing. The facilities themselves were nice.
The main Adeje strip is a 10 minute walk and very easy to do with buggys. There is also a very upmarket shopping mall directly across the road, with a supermarket on the lower floor. The hotel also has a well stocked shop in the lobby. Both came in handy for toddler snacks and other bits.
The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas but we were all a little disappointed that they didn't turn on the lights and didn't seem to plan to until much later in the month! Such a shame we didn't see the full effect.
Some small gripes;
The elevators tended to be slow and busy, which was surprising considering the hotel was very quiet when we stayed.
The harmony suite had a wooden floorboards to the bathroom area in the master bedroom that was grubby and beginning to smell in the WC. Definitely needs updating.
There was some poor communication with the housekeeping staff, as we tried to get them to clean our room in the mornings as the babies would nap in the afternoons. It eventually got resolved but took two days of back and forth. Maybe something that can be noted on check in if you have small children.
Overall, we loved our week here and would definitely return.

Grest family hotel. Good kids facilities. Buffet food changes every evening. Other pools other than kids could be heated too. Rooms are from 2018 and need refubrishment.
Highlight is bar on top of the hotel. Great views and drinks.
Another highlight was Donnaire Michelin starred restaurant - worth it and lives up to the quality. In-hotel guests get a discount.
