This was the best holiday my partner and I have ever been on. First of all, my partner and I are part of the lgbtq+ community. We are always nervous going away because we are afraid of discrimination. However, we felt very comfortable in this resort. Estrela da luz is clean and beautiful. The staff are amazing, especially the receptionist team. My wife, George, dislocated her knee while swimming. This happens to her sometimes, it's very nasty. She has a dodgy knee. I asked the receptionist for help and he immediately called an ambulance. The receptionist team were so helpful and kind to us during this difficult time. My wife was in a lot of pain, and they stayed with us until we were taken to hospital. The receptionist team then arranged a taxi for us to get back to the resort in. This made the process a lot easier for us. They were very kind and asked how my wife was feeling when we returned, asking if we needed anything. Our apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We felt very safe and peaceful. The spa was luxurious. We got back massages and I got a facial. I really recommend this to anyone going here. The swimming pool was perfect. Great weather, it was hot, so we swam every day. There is also a gym here, that looked very good but we did not use this as it was our holidays. Around the resort, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The beach was 10 minutes away. We also visited the zoo and water parks. This was all possible for us because of the brochures in the resort and the receptionist team who helped us. The best holiday ever! I recommend this place to everyone.

Amazing place to stay for holidays. We had a great apartment with a view to the ocean. The location is pretty good as well and the decoration was very pretty, with flowers and palm trees everywhere it felt very Mediterranean. Only thing I can complain about is the pool bar, as it only had 1 cocktail available and it took them 40 minutes to make a single order with 5 drinks. But other than that great experience overall.

Charming spot, if a bit of a trek to reach! Not marked by signage, as far as I can see, but look out for cars parked near a gateway along the Antrim Coast Road, just before Waterfoot. Head up the track (and I do mean 'up') for about 15 minutes. You'll arrive at a group of dilapidated former dwellings in one of the most beautiful settings you've ever experienced. To cap it off, there's a thatched dwelling with real fairy tale feel, which I later found out was done up for the Hame of Thrones TV show. Still nice though.

This was our second time staying in Estrela Da Luz and we enjoyed every minute of it! Apartment was spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped with a lovely balcony with sea views. The entire resort is spotless and the landscaping is impressive. Only a short walk to the beach and 2 lovely pools within the resort itself. We will be back in 2022!
