Just finished an exceptional five night stay at the Domes Lake. The staff at this property were phenomenal. They went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The room had a great view over the lake and was tastefully decorated. It was a pleasure to return to our oasis every day, after exploring the beach and marina. We really appreciated how quiet and relaxing our room was. Special thanks to Francesca for the lovely welcome amenities and for curating a fabulous stay, start to finish . We especially enjoyed the Portuguese wine tasting with Vidalis.
Erica from custom relations, was also available to book dinner reservations or spa appointments, and led a lovely bird watching expedition around the property. The breakfast buffet was vast and varied and offered anything you could possibly want. Special mention to Margarida for ensuring my spouse, who has celiac, always had something delicious to eat. This property takes food allergies and restrictions extremely seriously. We also enjoyed room service several times during our stay and it was excellent! Every staff member we encountered from the maids to the servers at breakfast and in the restaurants were professional and kind. Our time at this hotel was truly wonderful. Obrigada!

We have had the most wonderful stay and wanted to say a huge thank you to the entire Guest Relations team for their excellent service, the amazing deal offered to us, and the thoughtful gifts. It really made our stay extra special.
A special shout-out to Rita and Esther, and also the gentleman in the lounge, who provided such warm and lovely service. The whole restaurant team were fantastic, with particularly excellent service from Mona.
This truly is a five-star resort where nothing is too much trouble. It is incredibly relaxing, and everything runs so smoothly. The housekeeping is excellent, and the attention to detail across the hotel is clear.
I would highly encourage anyone with questions or concerns to speak with the staff first, as they are highly trained, professional, and genuinely care about making your stay perfect.

This was our third visit to Domes Lake, so we do still regard it as an excellent hotel. The location, outside the marina but within short walking distance, is ideal. Access to the beach is also easily walkable. The hotel has ample free parking too. The rooms are well equipped and many have good views over the excellent grounds, lake and the boardwalk around it.
Breakfast consists of a very extensive buffet. Dinner options vary with an a la carte choice or a small 'set menu' with some packages. Food quality during our most recent visit was very good.
There were only a handful of 'negatives'. Coffee at breakfast is served at the table from flasks. The coffee isn't always as hot as it could be and occasionally, it takes a while to get someone to bring a refill. The tea/coffee tray in the room was not replenished on any of the three days we stayed. Finally, the indoo pool was too cold for a 'spa' pool (evidenced by the small number of people using it). Additionally, a couple of the spa jets were not working nor was some of the ceiling lighting.
That said, this is still a very nice hotel and worth visiting.

An excellent resort with a huge range of facilities. There is something for everyone here, with a spa, gym, sporting activities, multiple pools, a mini man-made beach pool, a saltwater lake, and the real, vast and stunning beach just a few minutes' walk away. There are plenty of food options within the resort, a lovely bar, and lots more options just next door all around the busy marina. The staff were wonderful and every single person was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Top notch hospitality all round. Great for single, couples and families.

I had an amazing experience here. My children and my wife were so happy with the hotel. Me, my wife and my children enjoyed the amazing buffet Gustatio. The pool and spa were excellent and the indoor pool was a nice place for the children to stay and play. The food was amazing and the bar had amazing drinks. It was a nice place for walking outside and at the beach.
It had amazing service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They had wonderful live music on a few days. They had amazing things for the kids to do outside including the maze, the playground and the sports area.
The staff were extremely kind and made us feel comfortable here. I would definitely come back and would enjoy this wonderful experience again.
