Absolutely beautiful resort! Every detail is so well thought out in keeping with the rustic wilderness theme.
This resort is right on the lake and enjoys gorgeous views and a lovely breeze.
Transportation with busses and boats to Magic Kingdom were wonderful especially on a holiday weekend.
Beds are incredibly comfortable and the water pressure is fabulous for the shower.
The staff is amazing, so helpful and friendly.
The pool area is stunning and again so well themed.
Honestly the most relaxing environment I’ve ever been in while on a Disney vacation.
Highly recommend!

I just found the video from my video camera when I visited 10 years ago with my two boys. Memories of my life! This hotel was the best part of it ,beautiful and clean! I remember when we took the boat and crossed over to spend the day to Magic kingdom, the best experience of all. Now my kids are adults and I'm looking forward to coming back again. Everything about this hotel is Magical.

First time staying that this resort total time stayed 10 days, and every passing day we stayed just got better. The location of this hotel is fantastic. Able to be close to all the parks especially Magic kingdom. You can hear the train and music coming from the park while you’re outside of the hotel or on the front porch. By the end of the trip we started to joke around about calling it home. Every day coming back from a long park day it was nice to come to a quiet resort that was tucked away from everyone else. The only complaint would be the room was little underwhelming for a deluxe resort, especially after staying at animal kingdom resort prior. Deeply enjoy visiting and plan on coming back again soon.

Rooms
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge features a mix of hotel rooms, Disney Vacation Club Villas, and Cabins, including both Boulder Ridge and Copper Creek. During our stay, we enjoyed a one-bedroom villa in the Boulder Ridge area of the resort. This villa provided us with a living room, dining area, kitchen, and in-room laundry facilities. We appreciated the intricate details of the Boulder Ridge lobby and loved that it is a quieter alternative to the busy main lobby. There are several room options available: a King room accommodates 2 guests, a standard room fits 4, deluxe studios can host 4-5, a one-bedroom sleeps 4, a two-bedroom and a cabin can hold 8, and a three-bedroom suite accommodates up to 12 guests.
Service
The staff at the resort are incredibly attentive and friendly. However, one downside is that specialty coffee can only be found outside the resort. Given that this is a deluxe resort offering various upscale amenities, I believe this is a missed opportunity.
Location
The resort is beautifully situated among the trees across Bay Lake from the Magic Kingdom. Guests can take either a bus or a boat to reach the Magic Kingdom, with bus service available to all other locations on the property. Being off the monorail route allows for a more tranquil experience, as fewer visitors not staying at the resort come through.

We had a great week at the Wilderness Lodge. The room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping made sure we had everything we needed. The onsite restaurants had a nice offering and mobile pick up was super quick and handy. Great pool. Loved the water taxi to Magic Kingdom.
