Loved it beautiful hotel situated 10 - 15 minute drive from Kos town over looking the sea. We had the sea view junior suite ideal for watching the sun raise and fall. There is enough food The buffet can be repeatable but I haven't been to an all inclusive yet that isnt. There is more than enough food and drink available throughout the day, there could of been a bit more variety for pescatarian's. I loved the thalasa area was my favourite during the day and the staff there are extremely friendly. The room was spacious with a coffee machine, mini fridge etc, and mini bar. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our time away and would definitely go back.

Dimitra what can I say, we had such a great time in Sept 24, that we came back again in Sept 25 for longer, and once again you did not disappoint us.
We stayed in the main building, but there are other options including beach front bungalows. The rooms are well presented and spacious, beds are comfy and our room had a view to die for, we loved waking up to that in the morning.
We stayed a lot by the activity pool, there is a stairway down to the beach and whilst it is stoney, the waters are calm and warm. There were food options close by to the pool and a bar with great waitress service. The main bar is well staffed and drinks are available with minimal wait times, again there is also waitress service.
The evening entertainment is varied and enjoyable, it’s great to see the staff up dancing with the guests and having fun. Talking of the staff, they are the real asset to Dimitra, they are always polite and helpful with a smile and a “kalimera” at breakfast. Food was always fresh and continually replenished, it was varied with dishes freshly cooked whilst you wait.
There is a bus stop just outside the hotel and a 20 minute ride into Kos Town is well with the €2 charge, buses run too and fro on the hour from early to late.
So in short, Dimitra keep doing what you are doing, you are the best, we look forward to our third visit to our happy place

We stayed at Dimitra Beach Hotel for 7 nights on vacation.
Positives
• Location & View: The setting is truly beautiful. The hotel has an amazing view, and the location by the beach is fantastic.
• Staff: The staff are friendly, welcoming, and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. Our room was cleaned daily, and we appreciated their effort. Special thanks to one of the team members who recommended great places in the city center.
• Evening Entertainment: From 9 to 11 pm there was live music every evening, which created a pleasant atmosphere.
• Drinks: Cocktails were fine, and the local Alfa beer was decent.
Negatives
• Not a 5-Star Experience: Despite being marketed as a 5-star hotel, the overall experience does not match that standard.
• Rooms: The rooms are old and clearly in need of renovation — it felt like the last update was at least 10 years ago.
• Food:
• The food is basic, repetitive, and often tasteless. Every day, the same options were served.
• Thematic nights (Italian, Greek, Asian) were misleading — the same food was offered with just one “special” dish added (like risotto, gyros, or sushi). Unfortunately, these were disappointing, especially the sushi, which was the worst I’ve ever tried.
• The à la carte dinner (one per stay) was underwhelming. The food was average, and the so-called tiramisu was nothing like the real dessert — just a biscuit with custard.
• Desserts were monotonous, with the same few items rearranged differently each day. The baklava tasted packaged rather than freshly made.
• Snacks at the bars were particularly poor — the burgers were honestly the worst I’ve ever had.
• Facilities & Atmosphere:
• After 11 pm, there’s nothing happening at the hotel — no music, no activities.
• The beach sunbeds are old and dirty, which takes away from enjoying the otherwise beautiful setting.
Overall
Dimitra Beach Hotel benefits from its stunning location, great views, and friendly staff, but it falls short in almost every other aspect. The food, rooms, and facilities do not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. With some serious improvements, it could be a wonderful place, but as it stands, it’s not worth the 5-star label.

Loved our stay at the dimitra this summer. The drinks and food were good with nice attentive staff.
Private beach is the highlight of this resort - stunning and quieter than the pools.
The beach bar was great, with an amazing view and never ending cocktails (can’t complain).
Had a great experience at the spa in the Michelangelo resort as well.
Overall great experience!!!

Wonderfully relaxing week. We chose a beachfront bungalow which was very spacious and clean with its own patio and sunloungers and a fantastic view over the Aegean Sea and Turkey beyond. We were literally seconds away from the private beach and a couple of minutes from the largest of the three swimming pools. The beach is rocky so you need swim shoes. Every member of staff we met was very friendly and helpful. We chose the all inclusive option and there was a wide choice of food. There is also a handy mini market on site. If you want to venture out of the resort, there is a bus outside the hotel to Kos Town (around 15 mins, 2 euros each way). There was good quality entertainment in the evening at the main bar from around 9 until 11 and then all we could hear from our room was the sound of the waves :) If you are interested in Spa treatments you can book massages and other treatments using the hotel app to access the Spa in the next door Michaelangelo hotel.
