For sure not a 4 stars hotel or at least not according to the international standards. The rooms need to be renovated and better equipped as it is an old hotel. The all inclusive is more a canteen, but sometimes quite good and tasty. All the staff was kind and friendly (reception, bars, restaurants and also the guy who fixed our door because it was no longer closing due to a failure of the electronic part). Well positioned near the sea, bus stops, supermarkets and tavernas.
I did not understand why we had to spend our first night to another 4 star hotel across the street, but we enjoyed it (was actually better equipped).

Thanks to Dessole Dolphin Bay Resort! We liked it a lot. Rooms were very clean (cleanest hotel where i have been), Personal was friendly, Reception was helpful, food was very delicious! Very beautiful hotel area, with Trees, Cactus and local Greece Flora. Swimming pool big enough and clean. Hotel has Big food area, Sea kitchen, Sea bar, inner bar. Day activities are funny and active. From hotel gates to the sea is only 20 meters! Very easy to reach hotel area if You rent a car, some few turns from highway, also parking is available on Hotel area. Only issue that i had during the stay- is that seaside near the hotel was little muddy, i went some 50 meters west, water was more transparent there, but it is small detail, because beach was good with sand. Totally best hotel where i was in last 5 years.

Second visit to this resort, second great vacation! We come back because we enjoyed last year visit.
The hotel has a private beach, sandy beach with blue flag! It’s perfect choice for family with children.
The drinks are mediocre but this is a general issue for AI resorts.
Food is very good and tasty, we enjoyed fish, lamb, gyros@beachTaverna🤗.
The rooms are cleaned daily.
In general, the staff is very friendly, helpful and with a positive attitude.
Animation team program was improved since last year.
Kids enjoyed mini disco!
We highly recommend this resort.

My parents stayed at this hotel and their bed was made of bricks with a wooden plate on which they needed to sleep. I can't believe this is acceptable for a 4-star hotel.
It was very clean and close to the beach so that was very nice.
The food was okay, but much of the same.
For the price they paid, not worth it.

Hotel is great. Clean rooms, all inclusive until midnight, Heraklion just 30 mins by bus, on the beach, several car rental few minutes away.
Just reception staff could be bit more friendly.... when you try to arrange car rental, they do not understand what is 100% insurance and then asked for 800EUR deposit, CASH only... On the street you just give 70€, returning keys on hotel reception... And do not care further.
Gardener have hobby to cut the grass. Very slowly, during the day, 2x4 hours in two consecutive days. After one hour in beach bar your head started shaking from noise...
Baywatch guy is strictly controlling area when high ward wawes. But you can go just 50m right and he is fine 😁
But anyway, would go here sure again 🥰😁
