First of all, it is not a 5* hotel in any meaning.
I stayed there for 2 nights from 17th till 19th of December 2025. The hotel is very old, it was built in 2002, and I am not sure if they have done any renovation since that time. The carpets in the room are old. There is no any electric socket next to the working desk. So, you can either use your laptop or recharge it next to the bed.
I arrived late and I was trying to complete my work. When I decided to take bath, I found out that they forgot to put towels in my room. No any towel, no slippers, no bathroom. I tried to call to reception, but the phone didn't work. I went down and asked about towels. Nothing happened within 15 min, so I went down again and finally they sent me the towels.
Also the water was only hot, no any cold water in the bathtub. Finally the soap has finished at the last day, i.e. the housekeeping did not check the level of the soap in the containers.
The cleaning also is under question. On the second day when I came to the room, I sow that bad was fixed. However, they did not clean the table in the sitting area.
Breakfast was very basic, like 3*.
On the time of check out I was waiting for the porter to bring my bags down for 10 min, as they had only one porter at that moment, and he was parking the cars also.
I work in tourism for 23 years, and I really wonder how this hotel can have 5* category. I would give maximum 3*. Highly not recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Corniche Hotel, Abu Dhabi! We booked 3 deluxe rooms but were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to 2 spacious suites with a stunning sea-facing view. The rooms were massive, featuring separate living and bedroom areas and two beautiful bathrooms. The location is excellent — right near the beach, shopping complexes, and grocery stores. Room service was quick and courteous.
We also tried their à la carte lunch — the chicken biryani (around 40 dirhams) took a bit of time to prepare but was absolutely worth the wait, delicious and well-prepared.
The only small downside was the complimentary breakfast, which had limited options compared to what we experienced at Premier Inn in Dubai. But overall, it was a great stay and excellent value for money! Highly recommended.

My sister booked a 2-night stay for us, but we didn’t check in on the first night. When we arrived on the second night for my mom’s birthday, the experience was very disappointing from the start. There was no assistance from the bellboy, so we had to carry all our things ourselves.
When we opened the room assigned to us, there was already a guest staying inside. This could have been a serious privacy and safety issue — what if the guest wasn’t decent or was in a compromising situation? It was completely unacceptable. We had to go back down to reception with all our belongings, and still no proper explanation was given. It felt like our original room was given away because we didn’t check in the first night. They claimed they “upgraded” us, but the room we received was definitely not an upgrade.
To make things worse, the WiFi was extremely poor and even the room phone wasn’t working. For a hotel that claims to be 5-star, this is far from the standard expected.
Overall, a very disappointing stay. I hope management takes these issues seriously, especially regarding guest safety, privacy, and proper room handling.

Firstly, definitely not a “5 star hotel.” I thought I was getting a good deal for a 5 star hotel but after staying here I realized why it’s so much cheaper than others.
Receptionist was super unbothered by the fact that I was checking in, unwelcoming vibe. I was waiting 5-10 mins for this guy to even ask me for my booking/name.
Room was clearly very old, aircon kept making noises. Broken bits in bathtub and they did a poor job in covering it up with paint.
Breakfast was mid, everything tasted decent at best.
Checking out was also very cold, hotel staff does not make any effort to be warm.

I had a pleasant stay at Corniche Abu Dhabi. My room was classy and had a great city view on the 15th floor. The pool is nice, and gym is pretty well-equipped with machines and free weights. Free garage parking was also a huge plus. For breakfast, I would recommend walking to Free Palmer across the street as they have an incredible buffet for the same price. Overall, Corniche Hotel is a bit far from the beach 15-20 min walk), but I would recommend staying here.
