First of all, it is not a 5* hotel in any meaning.
I stayed there for 2 nights from 17th till 19th of December 2025. The hotel is very old, it was built in 2002, and I am not sure if they have done any renovation since that time. The carpets in the room are old. There is no any electric socket next to the working desk. So, you can either use your laptop or recharge it next to the bed.
I arrived late and I was trying to complete my work. When I decided to take bath, I found out that they forgot to put towels in my room. No any towel, no slippers, no bathroom. I tried to call to reception, but the phone didn't work. I went down and asked about towels. Nothing happened within 15 min, so I went down again and finally they sent me the towels.
Also the water was only hot, no any cold water in the bathtub. Finally the soap has finished at the last day, i.e. the housekeeping did not check the level of the soap in the containers.
The cleaning also is under question. On the second day when I came to the room, I sow that bad was fixed. However, they did not clean the table in the sitting area.
Breakfast was very basic, like 3*.
On the time of check out I was waiting for the porter to bring my bags down for 10 min, as they had only one porter at that moment, and he was parking the cars also.
I work in tourism for 23 years, and I really wonder how this hotel can have 5* category. I would give maximum 3*. Highly not recommended.

I had a pleasant stay at Corniche Abu Dhabi. My room was classy and had a great city view on the 15th floor. The pool is nice, and gym is pretty well-equipped with machines and free weights. Free garage parking was also a huge plus. For breakfast, I would recommend walking to Free Palmer across the street as they have an incredible buffet for the same price. Overall, Corniche Hotel is a bit far from the beach 15-20 min walk), but I would recommend staying here.

Firstly, definitely not a “5 star hotel.” I thought I was getting a good deal for a 5 star hotel but after staying here I realized why it’s so much cheaper than others.
Receptionist was super unbothered by the fact that I was checking in, unwelcoming vibe. I was waiting 5-10 mins for this guy to even ask me for my booking/name.
Room was clearly very old, aircon kept making noises. Broken bits in bathtub and they did a poor job in covering it up with paint.
Breakfast was mid, everything tasted decent at best.
Checking out was also very cold, hotel staff does not make any effort to be warm.

Highly recommend this place — and a special thanks to Lethi, because it’s people like him who make a hotel stay truly unforgettable! 🌟
Thank you for hotel and staff. We recently stayed at this hotel in Abu Dhabi and we were extremely satisfied! We had an issue with our booking payment through an external service — the payment got stuck, and unfortunately, the service’s support wasn’t helpful at all. That’s when the hotel manager, Ritha, truly made the difference: he stepped in completely, assisted us at every stage, communicated with the support team, and did everything possible to resolve the situation. We are sincerely grateful for his professionalism, care, and dedication!
We were given a lovely double room, which was perfectly comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. The overall atmosphere is warm, and the service is on a very high level. The hotel itself is wonderful as well: cozy, beautifully designed, and very clean rooms.

I have been staying in Abu Dhabi for the last 21 days and this is my 5th hotel, but I have never seen such poor management anywhere like at Corniche Hotel Abu Dhabi. I am currently staying here since the last 3 days and the overall experience is honestly terrible.
1️⃣ Breakfast – Below Average & Unprofessional
The breakfast team looks completely untrained. Half of the food items are missing, no proper menu planning, and food presentation is a joke.
Example – They serve sambhar, but there is nothing to eat with it — no idli, dosa, chapati, paratha… but they kept rice to eat with sambhar. Funny and shocking.
There are no proper food tags, buckets are half empty, and most of the time there is nobody to make omelets — and if someone comes, he can’t understand basic English.
2️⃣ Gym – A Complete Disaster
Most of the gym equipment is out of order, and the ones working make horrible sounds.
Opening time 8AM is useless because most professionals working in Abu Dhabi start office by 8:30AM – so clearly the hotel doesn’t want people to use the gym.
3️⃣ Swimming Pool – Worst Timing Strategy
Pool opens around 10AM. Who goes to pool at that time? People need pool access early morning before office or evening after work. This is extremely disappointing.
4️⃣ No Hospitality / No Greeting Culture
No staff welcomes you or guides you. Feels like a hostel, not a hotel.
5️⃣ Concierge – No Purpose
There is a concierge desk but I have no idea what service they provide. Absolutely clueless behaviour.
Overall, this hotel shows poor professionalism, poor management, no hospitality sense, and lacks basic standards expected from a 4-star hotel.
I have stayed in many Accor Group Hotels, and Corniche Abu Dhabi is by far the worst experience.
I strongly advise everyone to avoid booking this hotel. Horrible management.
