Why does this hotel call itself a 5 star? It's a deception in the name of a hotel. At best a 3 star hotel. Room service is so lousy they ask you to come down and eat in the restaurant. As for the food, the less said the better. Average budget hotels have a better breakfast spread. I would have been okay if they called themselves a 2 or 3 star property. But, 5 star? Are you kidding me?

I don’t understand why this hotel has had such bad reviews lately. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, nice big soft beds, though the bathroom tiles could do with a good scrub. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The pool is on the small side, but they have a decent gym. Coffee is a bit expensive, but overall, a good hotel for the price. We had a room overlooking the corniche and I had the best nights sleep in my 3 day trip to Abu Dhabi. If you like a soft bed, look no further.

I had an official visit and stayed for a few days. It's location is the key for the hotel. It's just the back side of the cornice. The room was clean and comfortable. It was equipped with a wardrobe, locker, mini fridge, TV, study table, sofa and tea table. Toilet hygiene was maintained and provided with all essential toiletries. Room service was prompt. A variety of foods were available for breakfast. A live counter for omlate was available throughout the breakfast time. Overall I had a good staying experience.

Definitely not a 5 ⭐️ hotel.
We booked it thinking that is a good and option for a couple, unfortunately it was not the best and most romantic experience. The pool is very small. The food is not amazing. The hotel itself it’s extremely old and the rooms are smelly. It should be a budget friendly hotel for the condition. They should consider renovating this.
The only good part about it is the location. That’s sad. Hopefully they will do something about it.

There is nothing I can recommend about this hotel. It’s a 5 stars hotel, and it didn’t even feel like 3 stars, definitely not in the level of 5 stars in Abu Dhabi.
First of all, in the check in we waited longer than 20 minutes, because only one receptionist worked. She was calling other employees to join her more than a few times, but they stayed at the back and chose not to join even though the line got crazy. Even when her team manager came and we asked her what’s going on, she said give just a moment to check and then she disappeared and never came back.
Then when we got to the room it wasn’t clean enough, toilet was broken in a few places, dust in a few places, shower curtain was disgusting, and bathtub was not white anymore (it had some black stains. In addition, even though the room was for 2 adults and we had 2 beds, we still got only one towel (no towel for the other guest and no floor towel). The day after, they cleaned the room and they provided us only one towel again.
The day after they didn’t even clean the room although the sign “please make the room” was on since 09:40 am and until we arrived back at 20:30 pm!!!!
Regarding electricity, there is option to charge the phone near one of the beds.. the other one doesn’t have electricity near to.
Regarding breakfast - it was one of the worst I have ever had! Such a small variety, less than 3 stars hotels usually provide in Dubai, and this is a 5 stars hotel!! Food wasn’t good, it wasn’t tasty, and not many options to choose from so you are stuck with it. As a 5 stars hotel I would expect a lot more! In addition, we were not listed for breakfast even though we paid for it. First breakfast, they called the reception to make sure we really paid, and then the day after exactly the same like they can’t study from previous mistakes and correct it for tomorrow (same with the towels in the room).
About the pool, it was so disappointing that we didn’t use it.
Last thing was the hypocrisy with environmental issues. They suggest not to change bed linen in order to save water and keep the environment cleaner, and at the same time they proved to each room so many small plastic bottles of shampoo and conditioner and etc. instead of providing a big bottle or a dispenser. It looks like they don’t really care about the environment, but they are happy to use this excuse in order to save money on laundry.
To sum up, we were really disappointed and can’t understand how do they have 5 stars.
