I visit Turkey quite often normally the hotels and stuff are pretty good. But in this occasion i decided club Selen ichmeler and my family totally regret staying there. Horrible customer service. Worst management team night or day shift When you have a complaint they blame each other shifts. Horrible food menu. And disgusting hotel rooms very old, toilet won’t flush had to manually flush it😡😡 Towels won’t changed daily. The stuff wouldn’t bothered to help. Neighbouring businesses also will tell you the same bad things about this hotel. Never go this hotel again and won’t never recommend it to anyone never.

This is not a hotel for the British, it’s heavily tailored for the Russians which is fine. But I’m not sure why British holiday websites advertise it as such. It’s easier to explain my truly unpleasant experience with the place from the start. Firstly check in was fine and was even shown to our room and they checked aircon was working. Then we come to discover that the toilet roll was out, no biggie but the next morning asking the staff was like asking them to perform a miracle for me. Next the toilet was constantly filling, didn’t seem to get noticed or fixed by the cleaners. The outside balcony always smells like stagnant water as the drain pipe runs where you sit and not to mention that the AC unit is blowing hot air onto you if you sit outside and have the AC on inside. Rooms would get cleaned randomly and and different times and then sometimes not at all. Towels didn’t get changed the entire time. The food was to put it frankly…gruel. Nothing was fresh, nor tasty and half of the stuff you would struggle to recognise. Doesn’t help as they don’t label the food and the service from the servers is like they are serving prisoner food. Food might be a best luke warm but most of the time it’s cold. We ended up eating out every night as the food was inedible. Not to mention that the food runs are very strict times and just seems to be left overs warmed up. They have set times for the all inclusive food and it stops at 9. Not snacking after that or nothing. Fruit was also stored outside, watermelons on the floor. The drinks were fine, efes on draft but served in small child beakers so removes most of the taste out of it. Vodka and gin was fine but they tended to run out around 9. Not to mention during the day the bar is swamped by wasps. Bar shuts at 10 but realistically it’s much before as like I said they run out of most drinks. Some stuff would get the drink orders wrong every time, I must of ordered a vodka orange dozens of time and each time I would get something completely different The staff were not welcoming to any of the British, and we spoke to others who had the same experience. They would spend most of the time doing everything they can do keep the Russians entertained and not give the British a second luck. As if we was an issue to be there, even though the hotel is advertised to us. If anything at night walking back or when going out it was intimidating walking past the group of staff all haggled around the pool table just watching you leave. Oh to also mention the pool table, good luck getting on it, most of the staff tend to just hang around there most of the day and night. The only time I spoke to a staff member was when he genuinely asked me if I was a drug dealer? I’m not sure if that’s a compliment or he wanted stuff? The hotel is vastly outdated to what else is in the area. No entertainment, no activities, just all round nothing to keep you on site. They play music but it cuts out every 10 minutes for about 30 the minutes then comes back on to play the same song. I guess the only redeeming factor is it’s location but even then I would never recommend this to anyone. There are much much better hotels in the area who provide a lot more. Do not let the cheap price entice you, you can get a lot better for the same price. The WiFi is shocking, it barely works and when it does it will last about 5 minutes before not working again possibly all night. By looking at other reviews if you Russian it seems great, and to be honest I do not know how. Please avoid this hotel if you are British.

Had a lovely holiday at club selen. The rooms are basic , few issues with drainage in shower but the room is comfortable could be cleaned more tho. Overall food is good , breakfast,lunch snacks and dinner. Good choice and always plenty there Staff are all extremely helpful and will help with any problems you have.

Just come back from a weeks holiday. I must have been one of the first guests this season and the place wasn't fully open as they were still setting things up, the dining space, what looks like a new bar area, but the staff are very friendly and will do anything to help. Sadly this didn't extend to sorting out the mattress situation. The mattress was VERY hard and I asked for something slightly softer, I think I could have slept on the floor and not noticed any difference. Sadly they could not help so I rarely slept all week. The rooms have seen better days, but are clean. My room had a new bathroom, I think I was the first to use it.....VERY nice. Location wise, slightly off the beaten track and in a quiet residential area. I found it ideal as I don't like being next to a nightclub or pub that is open till 4.00am Icmeler is really one big shopping place with shop after shop selling counterfeit goods, everything you can think of...watches, trainers, handbags.....and lots more. If you like shopping Icmeler gets 10/10 if however you want to see the real Turkey Icmeler is more of a 3/10. Did I have a good time Yes. Would I come again.....probably not

Hotel was awful , food was atrocious... I would not even feed it to my dog and when attempted to confront management about the quality of 3 day old food being put out twice a day for 3 days they got very hostile. Really would not recommend it if looking to enjoy your hotel.
