I stayed at this hotel, and I must say — it was absolutely wonderful! Despite its rating, the quality of service and experience exceeded all expectations.
The food was delicious every single day, and the rooms were always clean and well-maintained. The pools were spotless, and even the outdoor tiles were washed daily — a small detail that really shows their commitment to cleanliness.
But what truly made the stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, always smiling and ready to help. Special thanks go to a man named Dali — the heart and soul of the evening entertainment. Every night, he hosted Showtime — whether it was a quiz, dance party, or karaoke, he brought great energy and fun to the event.
What’s even more impressive is that he speaks (if I’m not mistaken) five languages — definitely French, Greek, English, and German — so conversations flow easily no matter where you’re from. He clearly gives his all to make sure guests are enjoying themselves, and his positive energy is contagious.
I truly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, clean, and fun place to stay. Don’t let the 3 stars fool you — this place shines bright!

I recently stayed at Lyda Hotel and I absolutely loved it! One of the best things about this place is the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff — they really make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
But the real star of the show is the DJ, Dali! He’s hands down the best staff member — so fun, energetic, and knows exactly how to keep the vibe going. He made every evening unforgettable!
I 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great vacation in Crete. You won’t regret it!

Excellent hotel!!! Friendly staff, very varied and tasty food, clean and in our opinion corresponds to 5 stars!! Special thanks to Carlos (animator) - very funny and professional in his field 👍 The girls at the reception are smart in everything 🤗 The chef of the restaurant is brilliantly talented in preparing dishes. Natalia the waiter is very kind and friendly. We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back! Thank you 🙏

We spent a week at the hotel.
Starting with the room: we stayed on the ground floor in room 101. The room had an unpleasant smell, which I think came from the sewer. One of the beds was made with old linens that had ingrained yellow stains. The bathroom was small, old, and uncomfortable. After taking a shower, the entire floor was wet, and we had to lay down towels, which were changed once every two days. There was no smoke detector in the room, and there was an empty box from a fire blanket on the shelf. We could hear every flush from the neighbors above.
Two other families also complained about the smell in their rooms. One family was upset that their room did not match the photos online, to which the reception replied that the website shows the best rooms, and they don't post pictures of all the rooms. This response came from a Russian-speaking woman at the reception, whom I want to emphasize was rude to the guests. The food varied but was tasteless. The children only ate pasta.

We have been here last week, 2 adults and 2 kids 8 & 10, hotel is basic but ok.
The pools are great, there are enough sunbeds for everybody.
Location is quiet, no partying people or sounds of bars or nightclubs, that was because there is nothing in a 2 mile radius.
The All-inclusive is horrible though, bar opens at 11:00 and closes at 22:30.
Only postmix drinks (cola, Fanta, Sprite)
Beer is non alcoholic!!!!
Didn't dare to try the wines.
Food is absolutely horrible, you've get a lot to chose from but there are absolutely no flavours and i've got sick after 2 days.
My kids only ate the fruits, everything else they couldn't bare.
We've spend the rest of our holiday eating at the neighbours (Valentina's, they were great!!!)
We weren't the only one complaining about the food, almost everybody we spoken to told us the same.
There were people living on bread for more than a week!!!
This was the first and the last time we went to Club Lyda.
