Rooms are kinda big and basic. But sleeping in the bed is like sleep on concrete floors. You dont get fresh towels until after the first week. So if you're staying there for a week, make sure you bring extra towels. Cleaners also dont come to clean the apartment until after the 1st week.
The pool is nice but you have to be out there at exactly 9am to get a sunlounger otherwise you will not get one for the day.
Restaurant is overpriced. 48euro for 2 lasagne, 2 drinks and 3 portions of fries. Fries came out early before the lasagne and the lasagne came out 15 minutes later, which was stone cold in the middle in both lasagnas. So the lasagnas were obviously frozen before being cooked. Same as the pizza. The workers are very nice though.

Clean tidy if a little dated. Everything you need is here, WiFi laundry all the amenities in the rooms, 5 minutes to supermarket and 15 to the beaches. Good pool if lacking sunbeds.

We stayed here as a family of four and had asked for a cot before arriving. The cot was finally put in our room three days later after asking each morning. We paid for the towels and bed sheets to be changed on the third day and still no sign two days later. I went to the reception and were given 4 towels and two single bed sheets.
The rooms are very outdated and basic. The breakfast was ok but very salty.
The best thing about our stay were the pools, that's only because they were very deep.

Awful Experience – Completely Rude Staff, No Hospitality, and Zero Basic Essentials
this review needs to be shared.
Our stay here was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced.
There were absolutely ZERO towels in the room when we arrived — not even hand towels or washcloths. When we asked for some, the staff was incredibly rude and made us beg just to get one bath towel per person. That was all we were given — no extras, no replacements. We were expected to use that single towel the entire stay.
Then our toilet started leaking, and instead of helping us or sending someone to fix it, we were expected to clean it ourselves — using the only towels we had just begged for. To make things worse, they accused us of breaking the toilet, which was absolutely ridiculous.
The bathroom situation was made even worse by the fact that the bathtub didn’t drain properly. Every time we showered, dirty water would just sit there, leaving us to stand or sit in the backed-up water. It was disgusting and felt completely unsanitary.
Trash was never taken out — we had to haul it out ourselves, and even the outside bins weren’t emptied. The room is advertised to sleep six, but we were only given two keys, which made coordinating extremely inconvenient. On top of that, there was no dish soap, no cleaning supplies, and no attempt at making the space feel clean or comfortable. Not sure if it was because the hotel was at full capacity and they couldn’t handle it? But that’s not my fault or an excuse -
As if all that wasn’t enough, the maintenance guy was extremely rude. We arrived at the breakfast area at 8:15 a.m., just 15 minutes before it opened at 8:30, and he wouldn’t even allow us to sit inside. He argued with us instead of handling it respectfully. When it finally did open, we were not greeted or acknowledged — it felt like we were an inconvenience just by showing up.
The place may look decent in photos, but do not be fooled — the reality is the complete opposite. For the price we paid, this stay was a total disaster. No hospitality, no cleanliness, no respect for guests.
Avoid this place at all costs. You’ll regret staying here.

I stayed at an Airbnb that was not remodeled and had limited decor. The staff though here are fabulous. I lost my wallet and they found it and returned it to me.🙏🏼 It has a pool, restaurant, small market. The location is great if you like walking. 15 min walk to beach and 10 min to town center. Not sure what the hotel apartments are like. Alvor is a great place too.❤️
