Loved this hotel in the day due to an amazing pool, great views and friendly pool staff. The lady on the pool bar made you feel welcomed and made lovely food. Lorraine on entertainment was brilliant and an asset to the hotel.
The facilities were ok but paying for air con and having no soap is a joke.
However at night it was so noisy we didn’t sleep well at all. The adjoining door was so thin we could hear everything next door. Plus the music went on outside till about 4am!
The stairs to get up and down are a challenge but taxis are easily available.
Everyone seemed to know each other at this hotel and appeared to go back year on year. For the money we would probably go back for 1 night if we planned to stay out late so the noise wouldn’t bother us.

The Bar staff and Lorraine entertainments manager were absolutely superb.
They are kind, caring and happy to help and talk.
The rest of the staff lack in comparison.
The bar drinks are very cheap for hotel drinks and the food is affordable and tasty.
The pool and pool area are good and it gets the sun from about 10.30 all day. The pool is deep and good for swimming.
The hotel is well placed but maybe hard for anyone with mobility issues due to being on a hill. Plenty of stairs to get down but if your Firth’s isn’t a problem.
The rooms are large but not great. There is a well stocked kitchen with pots and pans and plates.
The bed is not comfortable and the adjoining door is very thing and you can hear everything next door, especially if you have constantly drunk neighbours.
There is no hand soap or shampoo available.
There is air conditioning however you need to pay €5 a day for the remote which would quickly mount up. I’ve never seen this before.
The balcony is nice however at night the area is very loud and you can hear the party from the bottom shopping mall until 4am.
This was out of season so peak season only know what it is like.
Plenty of free parking about on streets.
Be very careful before booking.

Giving 5 stars based on experience, and considering expectation and price for a 2 star resort. There's a few things here and there accomodation wise, but experience was great and really good value for money. Dante at the pool bar is great in the evenings, had some good laughs and great cocktails :) - I'd come again for sure.

The hotel is high up but the facilities mean you don't really have to venture far if you don't want to. The pool area is big and cleaned daily. There is also a life guard every day. The pool bar is very reasonable with a good food menu. The Bar staff are very professional, polite and helpful.
The reception staff are also very helpful. My husband was taken ill and they helped us to get a doctor and treatment.
Our room was cleaned regularly, we had everything we needed, except for hand soap in the bathroom. They supplied washing up liquid, sponge, tea towel etc. The view from the 6th floor was stunning.
Due to the positioning of the hotel, you don't get the Sun around the pool until around mid day. We would go to the town for breakfast and a walk and go back to the pool later on or visit the beach.
I was dreading the 167 steps to the town but, it was quite a relaxing walk, the steps are 6-7 at a time, then a flat piece of ground so not too taxing. We got a taxi back which was €3.85 in the day and €4.25 after 10pm.
There are many restaurants, not one bad meal was had, and bars and shops. All very reasonably priced.
The beach area is very clean, 2 sunbeds are €7 for the day.
There are a lot of water sports and day trips that can be booked although we didn't so I can't comment.
You have to pay extra for your safe, WiFi and aircon.
This was our first visit but won't be our last.
