I’ve recently joined the Gym and am not staying at the hotel, I have used UK Gyms for 30 years before moving to The Algarve. I am hugely disappointed with Browns most of the gym equipment is very old and some machines do not work or are in a poor state of repair the only shower in the spa area is out of order and I’m told this has been the case for many months, this then requires sauna user’s to trip back through reception to then return to the spa wet ( not convenient and not safe) the classes which were a major attraction like Pilates are impossible to book. Booking requires you using an app 24 hours prior to class but even at 1 second past the first booking time classes are shown as full so I expect management manipulation is involved and regulars get priority. Small point but shows the poor level of management care not a single wall clock is working.

A beautiful setting in parasol pines with well spaced villas . We loved our accommodation with excellent showers and a good kitchen with fridge. We had all we needed
The outside space was good too with table chairs and sun loungers.
Excellent facilities for sports . We had a netball tournament there. Lovely outdoor swimming pool with lots of loungers. Indoor pool too which was well heated. You do need to wear a swim cap. Changing rooms available with lockers and showers.
You can play squash ,volleyball ,table tennis and there are football and rugby fields.
We enjoyed our meals especially the fresh bread and delicious oranges.
There was usually pasta, rice, a vegetable with either fish chicken or pork for lunch and dinner .
The sports bar was popular with TV screens and a pool table.
A lovely outdoor space too for drinking outside .
If you like birds you will see turquoise winged magpies and hoopoes!

So far best resort have been to. Staff are very professional gave us very nice service. facilities are very good especially the sports pitches unfortunately we didn't get to use because we there for athletics. I would visit the browns every year if I can.

Dear sirs
I have amended the rating to 3 from 1. I attended the reception around last week and the staff on the counter did not give me a very welcoming feeling and seemed to be rather busy with whatever they were doing. I have increased the rating since I did not use the facilities. From a Customer service perspective I was a bit disappointed. I trust this will be sufficient to allow your front desk to improve without hampering your stats.

Nice place to stay but a bit out off the way. The facilities are good for the sporting types. Indoor pool and gym. Lots of activities and classes. Bar is very good for both food and drink. Great English breakfast.
