Just the little things, tea and coffee in rooms with milk! A TV that works...for a little bit of home comfort after a long day out. The smell of sewerage was disgusting and continuous!
The over use of plastic cups! This is an adult only hotel! More suited to club 18-30!
So many stairs!!!
Food was terrible! The same thing for lunch and dinner! Pretty much reconstituted each day!
If I was on a lads/gals holiday this would have been great! But not as a place to come with your partner for romance and relaxation!
The location was stunning!
And the staff did their best! But communication was pretty poor!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a vacation, and it was really great. I enjoyed every meal they served. However, I must also appreciate the bartender, Spiros, by the pool. He's a really great guy who would do anything for the customers.
I definitely recommend that everyone should visit it. Not only because the hotel is great, but also because the place is very calm and beautiful. It was a truly relaxing vacation.

We have been here for 2 days out of a 5 day stay in May 2023. The cleaning of the rooms are a very poor standard. Floors are dirty, bathrooms are in need of repair and a deep clean. The hotel it’s self is in need of repair, there are lots of health and safety concerns. Hand rails are not fixed to wall and pool stairs are loose. The floors are slippery also. The showers are not fixed to the wall correctly, you have to hold the shower head to use it. The food is nice but not much variety of choice. The staff are not helpful. We made the best of a poor situation as it was our booked holiday. Unfortunately I would not revisit this hotel. The hotel it seems has been rushed to open for the season as things do not seem ready.

We just spend a week at the Brilliant Resort/Porto Demo Hotel in Corfu and I'm already planning our next visit. We loved every moment. This is the perfect place to go and relax. The rooms are cleaned daily and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The maitre d, Napoleon, and his staff made sure that the food was delicious and plentiful. We had a wonderful time and have come home feeling totally relaxed.

On arrival on Friday 3rd June we were not given our booked accommodation in an adult only hotel. We were placed in alternative family hotel that was in now way 4 stars, the adjacent St George hotel. It was not a deluxe room, nor did it have the sea view that we paid a premium for. It lacked basic amenities such as kettle, cups, towels, toiletries etc to achieve 4 stars, even by Greek tourism standards, and was in a poor state of repair, the shower door handle broke off due to corrosion when we tried to open it.
The reception staff were rude and unapologetic. We witnessed two other couples on arrival being treated in the same manner and not being given the accommodation they had paid a premium for.
We complained but were told the hotel was fully booked and that they would move us to our accommodation the next day. Being in a more remote part of Corfu we had no other choice and no phone reception to call anywhere. We then had to wait the next day waiting for a call to tell us our room was ready to move to the hotel we had paid for. The call never came after spending the day sat in the hotel bar waiting as we had phone reception there. My wife went to reception after 3pm to witness 20+ people being given rooms in our hotel, she had to argue forcefully to get a room in the hotel we paid for. The lady behind the reception desk throwed keys at my wife when she realised she would not stand down or allow the other 20+ people to be booked in.
We got into our room at 5pm on the next day, they never transferred our cases, they left them outside in the direct sunlight at reception and one case contained my diabetes insulin medication that has to be kept cool. I had to retrieve these myself and drag them up the hill with the help of a nice but very small staff lad from Albania who was clearly fed up with the way guests were being treated. Normally they use vans to transport guests luggage due to it being built on a steep hill and a large number of steps which are often uneven and slippery. At this point I was ready to leave the hotel in disgust and pure anger at the way we had been treated but my wife managed to calm me down.
The room in Brilliant Hotel was better then the St George but still in no way a 4 star or a boutique hotel in any sense, we had booked Porto Demo Boutique but all are just one big comple. No cups, coffee, toiletries, only 1 towel and 1 foot mat, curtains not attached to the rail etc. we requested from the cleaners more but were told none were available until the next day.
In total we spoke to twelve couples who all suffered the same situation, mostly British. On the 3rd night we witnessed a couple arguing with the hotel manager (possibly owner) in the middle of the restaurant who had been stuck in the St George hotel for 2 nights when they had paid for the same Deluxe Sea Room View room, adults only, that we had.
The hotel often stunk of raw sewage at various locations as they were failing to regularly empty the tanks and many of the slippery steps were constantly covered in water with permanent slip hazard signs (no attempt was made in the time we were there to fix the issue), both are clear health and safety breaches. The main tank at the top of the hill sat with its red overfill warning light on for 3 days before being emptied.
We struggled everyday to find sunbeds that were available and more importantly not broken to the point they could not be used or torn to the point you sat on the metal bars. We went back to the St George pool on several days as we could not get beds at the Porto Demo due to the usual suspects putting towels on them. I conservatively estimate 30%+ of the sun beds at the St George were unfit for use and no attempts were being made to fix or remove them.
If you have booked this hotel for later in the year I would honestly look to cancel it if you can. And all the comments about the steps are true, if you are not physically fit you will struggle.
