BQ Can Picafort Hotel

Giving this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 for lack of drink selection for people that had half board, people were forced buying drinks for dinner. (June 2023) Apart from that a nice hotel with tasty food with huge variety. Gym was clean and nice, there was a back machine , bench , dumbbells, treadmill, machine for bench press, nice area to chill downstairs while waiting to be picked up from hotel, friendly staff.

The staff are so friendly 10/10, brilliant. The wheelchair room we stayed in was a great size with a lovely view that overlooked the pool and the sea through trees. The pool isn't heated but has a disabled lift which is brilliant. The bed was too low to allow transfers to my wheelchair. Staff raised the bed by using 3 different layers of about 1 inch each. The bed wasn't made-up or the sheets changed after the bed was risen (about 9 days). A receptionist got this rectified after she was told. The ramp into the hotel is not suitable for wheelchair users, proper access would have a ramp that is not like climbing a steep cliff...very disappointing The outdoor eating area is lovey with a view of the road and the sea at the end. There are lots of choices of food but no cornflakes after the first few days, no Irish breakfast. Steak was lovely and ice-cream for desert Some problem with booking a transfer to the airport which would have cost €20 for 2, instead the taxi cost €92.45!!! Overall this is a lovely friendly hotel but not suitable for wheelchair users unless you have strong person with you to push up the ramp plus bed needs to be at wheelchair level

Highly recommend. Regarding location, the hotel is close to the beach (less than 5 minutes walk), shops, bars and supermarkets. Staff are super friendly (reception, restaurant, cleaning and evening entertainment), and breakfast and dinner buffets have a huge choice of food - both fresh and cooked, and good quality. There is a choice of two pool areas and a small but well equiped gym and sauna. Bikes can also be hired. We stayed for a week and could have happily extended for a second week.

Love Can Picafort and BQ Hotel. We went to Majorca for the first time and we are in love with the island. The hotel is great, fantastic breakfast buffet, amazing and helpful staff. 2 minutes walk to the beach 🏖️, two pools. We are definitely going back next year! Photos are not of the hotel!

For a hotel in such a hot place, they could do with bigger fridges and at least an ice machine that guests could use. Swimming pools are only open from 9-7 which is also a downer. Balcony lights can only stay on until 11h53pm, why?! Food buffet is expensive for what's offered: unsalted food and drinks are also expensive compared to what the goods actually cost. Place is overall clean at least. Would I recommend it? Absolutely not.
