Look, the reviews are harsh. The hotel is 3* and it's cheap. The staff are nothing but friendly and work hard all day/night. Yes it's dated but it's clean and spacious. Rooms are a lot bigger than other places we've stayed. The food is fine, can always find something to eat. The pool is nice, my son loved it. The entertainment team were fab, in particular the curly haired girl.
Would I recommend it to my friends, probably not cos they are a bit high maintenance. Would I go again, maybe but definitely not in school holidays as it was busy enough in June.
Overall a lovely holiday, no cockroaches but loads of ladybirds.

Firstly the staff are genuinely superb. They cannot do enough for you and are just excellent. The food is as you would expect. Good options but nothing outstanding but you aren't paying for lavish food so as expected. Room was fine, air-conditioning worked great and no issue with bugs or insects. Room is abit tired and only changing towels every 3 days isn't amazing but again perfectly acceptable Room standard. Location is perfect for wandering around. Sun Loungers is a huge issue be warned. The hotel states clearly that people cannot reserve them but as of writing this at 21:40 at night there are 6 sun loungers without towels on in the whole hotel and none will be removed overnight. Staff clearly have been told not to remove them but its really not good. We've sat all day by the pool surrounded by unused loungers all with towels on. It's a real downside. Otherwise a lovely place for the money but be very aware of the issue by the pool.

Staff extremely friendly, always cleaning, good selection of food, basic options but something for everyone. Pool bar food fab also, again cannot complain as plenty for kids, hot dogs, burgers, ice cream, toasties, chips etc. Good selection of soft drinks that were self service. Room was clean and spacious, air con worked too! Decor maybe a little old but was fine for laying our heads at night. Swimming pool good also, nice size, never had an issue to get a sun bed. Would definitely return and would recommend as a family holiday, extremely impressed 👏 👌

Good hotel, good selection of food and clean facility. I was a bit concerned about this choice when I read people's reviews, but place has surprised me very positively. It is quite a large hotel with loads of entertainment, the rooms are spacious, maybe a bit dated but definitely clean. The food was really good and there was a large selection. I'm a vegetarian and there were plenty of choices for me. Service and staff were very friendly and helpful.. Nothing to complain about. The only thing I could ask for was a better choice of wine in the bar.

Stayed here for a week in July. Let's start with a positive: the food in the main restaurant was okay - matched (maybe better some days than) the 3 star rating and my kids enjoyed it anyway.
But the holiday was a real let down due to the moldy state of the bedroom, the 5 calls over 7 days to the maintenance team for: faulty air-con, water leaks from the floor above, door cards not working for anyone, including the service team which locked us out on 2 occasions and the aircon failing again. The 'sorry we've run out of fresh towels' got tired by the 5th day. The dirty rubbish in the pool first thing in the morning was just grim! The whole hotel is very tired looking. And I'm not going to bring up the pool seating issues.
Most staff are lovely though and that made it more barrable. However the first desk and management team have a real problem. I didn't feel their wrath in person but I did witness more than one guest with innocent requests being spoken to in a manner that was totally inappropriate.
I'm disappointed by the response by the hotel to my other restrained review of the hotel state - where I've essentially been told I was wrong! Hotel management: I have photos of all the physical room defects written about, along with others that I haven't. Should you (hotel management) or Jet2 wish to see them, you only need ask!
