We did not expect much, but we're hoping for better. When we first arrived, the area looked great. The lobby was very nice and looked quite fancy, actually. The guy at the front desk was okay could be friendlier but overall okay. Major downside is that the wait for your rooms to be ready was actually ridiculous, but we managed to convince them to give us at least one of the rooms early. The food is mediocre at best. Most of the meat was dry and was basically the same thing every day. Cocktails were good, but they demanded cash for the cup, and if you didn't have it, then sorry you're not getting anything. One barman was particularly nasty about this rule for no good reason. There was no entertainment despite advertising otherwise, and the location itself is quite remote and quiet, with all the good spots being 10-20 min away by car for 1+ hours away by bus. Also, the cleaning was non existing they make your bed every other day and mopped the floor that hadn't even been swept. One day, we didn't even receive towels after they took the old ones away. Overall, don't expect much.

I don’t understand why everyone is complaining about this hotel, you get what you pay for, it’s a 3 stars hotel, yes, the rooms are outdated but they are still decent and cozy, most the the rooms have balcony with sea views which is a big plus, the breakfast is fine, like most hotel breakfasts — pastries, eggs, bacon, cakes, yogurt, and a few other options. Lunch and dinner vary daily; they’re not amazing, but not bad either.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, always doing their best to assist you. While some may have limited English, their effort and dedication are evident.
In the area you can find many restaurants and bars, even a small beach with black sand, just be careful there as it is a bit wavy.
To conclude this review, I really enjoy my time here and I hope you do as well in Tenerife

Bit of a mixed review. Location is amazing. Quiet but close to so many lovely places. Town very peaceful and clean and away from any "party" people Beach is not great very stony/rocky so not great for chilling or swimming. Will need to travel to a nice beach. Hotel is a solid 3 star. Rooms very dated and run down. Needs re decorating and re furnishing desperately. Decent size rooms. No kettle which was irritating. Food was average. Desserts were terrible. Bar was good but bar man was grumpy. Only one cocktail type a day on all inclusive. Very basic drinks offered on all inclusive but adequate. Grounds desperately need tidying up. Decent amount of activities. Would have been nice to have had a little entertainment. Even just one night. Perhaps even just a live singer. The ladies in the little shop were great and helped us book some jet skiing. Shop pretty well stocked and not massively expensive. Reception area is beautiful. Just need the rest of the place to be at the same standard. We hired a car and always managed to find parking on the street no problem. Pool loungers were an issue but we went to the pool near the top set aside from the bar and restaurant and it was always very quiet. I would say avoid the pools near the bar and restaurant if you want a little peace and quiet. We had a lovely time in Callao Salvaje and the hotel was good as a base. It is a solid 3 star I would say.

We chose Callao Salvaje Bluesea Garden as our hotel destination in Tenerife and stayed there for exactly 7 days. Unfortunately, I have to say I’ve never been so disappointed with a hotel/resort stay.
The rooms had no air conditioning and were very outdated. The onky way to breathe any air was to leave all doors and windows open as there was only one old inefficient ceiling fan. The furniture was old and falling apart – sagging sofa, smelly wardrobes, broken chairs, old and worn mattresses.
The shower curtain was stained, and the toilet was loose and unstable. Overall, the room felt neglected and unclean.
The swimming pools weren’t very clean either. Most sunbeds were “reserved” early in the morning by guests leaving towels, and there weren’t enough umbrellas for the number of people. The overall atmosphere around the pool was chaotic, and hygiene was clearly not a priority.
The all-inclusive option is not worth it. Apart from the beer, which was okay, the rest of the drinks were very poor quality – strange-colored cocktails and soft drinks from machines. Loud games machines were placed in common areas, making it hard to relax. We ended up eating out most days to have any decent food and overall spent most time outside the hotel.
The food was another major issue. It often smelled bad, there was a very limited selection of vegetables and fruits, and most dishes were repetitive and low-quality – frozen fries, nuggets, and pasta with bland tomato sauce. Food was kept in buffet warmers but was often hard, poorly seasoned, and clearly not freshly made.
There is no proper evening entertainment. They hired a “DJ” who mainly plays karaoke through YouTube (including ads), and he repeatedly plays Queen songs every night – apparently, he's a huge fan. One time, he organized an event for kids, but it turned into total chaos that lasted late into the night.
There was also no security in the evenings. Drunk guests were often loud and jumping into the pools at night, even though swimming was officially allowed only from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On top of that, the smell of marijuana, urine, and vomit was noticeable in the public toilets near the pool and sometimes around the premises – extremely unpleasant and unacceptable for any hotel.
To make things worse, our room was only swept once in the entire 7-day stay. The bed sheets were never changed, and we had to go to the reception to ask for fresh towels, which should be a basic service in any hotel.
Overall, I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. The lack of cleanliness, poor food quality, weak entertainment, and neglect in basic services made this a very disappointing experience. I truly hope the hotel management takes these issues seriously and works on meaningful improvements.

For someone who travels solo and does more outdoor activities to within the hotel / all inclusive deals - I’d say it was a good deal for me.
The location is located in one of the reserved, peaceful, quiet places of the island with grocery shops , restaurants and ofcourse the beach close by.
It has 3 swimming pools (10:00-18:00) with ample number of sun beds. The breakfast was just okay, not a lot of variety but it’s definitely doable if you don’t care to eat out for lunch and dinner.
The room was conducive, spacious, nice views, clean and well maintained.
