Had an amazing 2 weeks. Rooms were clean and comfortable, entertainment was great. We went half board. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Waiters and waitresses were friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond to make things good for us. A huge thank you to Maria, Nikolaos and Charis in the restaurant. Made our breakfast and evening meal even more enjoyable. Lovely people

Stayed here for 10days in July 25. Amazing hotel with amazing friendly staff. We stayed half board and the food was tasty and varied throughout the 10days. Pool was a good size and never had problems getting loungers. It's set on a pebble beach with views towards Turkey mountains with amazing sunsets. Ben and Sammy the entertainment team work so hard every day making it fun for all the guests. Highly recommend a visit.

Hotel and rooms are loverly, good size pool with life guard, and they have towels so you don't need your own. Tree covered path to the beach and a cafe where you can get food if your on half board (5 minutes) The restaurant is open 3 times a day with great food. Entertainment most nights in the bar ( table service)

2 Families - 4 x adults, 4 x 15 year olds, 1/2 board.
We had a lovely time here, the food buffet was varied each evening and the food both in the morning and evening was very nice. Our waiter, Vassili was brilliant, very friendly and provided a great service. The rooms were modern and cleaned to a high standard. The animation team (Ben and Sammy) were great, kept us all entertained throughout the day and evening, both had lovely personalities and went above and beyond. The 4e sunbed charge (for beach sunbeds) I feel was a bit out of order & the pool lifeguards people skills were not the best. Would recommend.

We’ve just come back from a lovely week at Blue Horizon. We had a Standard Room with a sea view and got to watch the sunrise every morning. The beach at the hotel is also perfect for watching sunrise and sunset.
There was entertainment every evening except Sunday. Samy and Ben were great- they ran everything from daytime water sports to a fire show at night. Aqua aerobics was our favourite.
We’d read some reviews about people struggling to get sunbeds by the pool, but we didn’t have any issues at all. And although planes fly overhead often, it didn’t bother us. The hotel is close to the airport, so you’ll hear planes wherever you stay in the area.
The room was cleaned daily and always felt fresh. The food was great too, though the dinner service could’ve been better. The drinks system was a bit all over the place, and a few of the staff came across as stressed or abrupt. We also checked in really late due to a delayed flight, and the night receptionist wasn’t very welcoming, which wasn’t the best first impression.
One thing that could definitely be improved is how they share info about what’s going on at the hotel. There was one small board with events listed, but it was easy to miss. It would be helpful to have posters in the lifts or around the hotel, and maybe some info in the rooms about amenities and useful numbers.
The location is great- there are lots of shops nearby and a shuttle bus to Rhodes Town that’s €8pp return.
Overall we had a great time. The hotel just needs a few small improvements, especially when it comes to communication and service.
