Just enjoyed a lovely 7 day stay at Bitacora Lanzarote Club.
Reception and bar staff were so lovely and helpful.
I forgot my bag in a taxi and the gentleman at reception tracked down the taxi and had the bag delivered back to me in 15 minutes. Very much appreciated.
The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable.
The WiFi in our apt was unusably slow but other apartments in our group had better luck.
Centrally located, 10 mins to the main strip and 10 mins to the old town and shopping centre. Lidl 5 minutes walk up the road.
Bar food very nice and service very good. Bingo was fun.
Self service laundry room was very handy and the gym looked clean and well equipped (Didn't use it however)
Pool very nice and the kids pool was the perfect size and height for our toddler.
Would return for our next trip to Puerto Del Carmen. Thank you 👍

Nice apartments. Only a ten minute walk to the beach. Rooms clean. Receptionist was a gentleman and pool bar staff were very friendly. Good food at the pool bar and good size pools for adults and kids. Bags could be left after checkout. Enjoyed our stay.

OK so very long winded but hopefully it helps some people out before booking.
We just returned home after staying here for 1 week in the dreaded room 103.
The plus points -
Staff helpful
Shower is excellent.
The rest-
On booking this holiday i was under no impression that we were given a discount because it was the apartment (103)nobody else wanted. As per the photos it is tucked away in the corner with only a view of another apartment wall, also 5ft away is not only the access in for when reception doors are locked so you get people coming and going all hours with gate slamming but also tucked just round the side is the shop with the most annoying buzzer for whenever anyone enters.
Inside the apartment mobile 4G/5G is non existent. You can connect to bitacora WiFi but the price is extortionate.
The old trick of taking no responsibility should anything gets stolen from your apartment means you get to pay 3 euros per day plus 3 euro deposit for the safe in the room that's been paid for 100 times over!! What was very confusing was you get body wash and shampoo and toilet rolls but in the kitchen no bottle of drinking water or soap for washing up ?
There is an iron but no ironing board!!
The swimming area-
Apparently according to the sheet of paper you get upon arrival of rules and advice. No people in pool area before 10am and STRICTLY No reserving sunbeds........... of the 7 days we were there this rule was broken everyday!! To a point it was impossible to get a sunbed if you were not out before 10:30am. The pool at bitacora is very small and on counting has 90 sunbeds which doesn't ecuat to 1 sunbed per apartment!!
Unfortunately for me this place does not offer value for money so definitely wont return.

My partner and I just returned from a week stay at Bitacora.
Overall, we really enjoyed this hotel. It is very clean and well kept. The staff are absolutely lovely throughout the hotel. We were a bit put off by the location at first but to be honest it wasn't bad at all, maybe a 10 minute walk down to the front. The trip back up the hill is a bit harder but not as bad as we were expecting and you get used to it.
Our room was great with a well kitted out kitchenette (which we didn't really use), great balcony, and excellent aircon (needed!). Roomservice came every other day to replace towels, bed linens, etc. Our only disappointment was the sunbeds. On our first morning we headed out to the pool area at around 9am but literally every sunbed was claimed by a towel despite the fact only 2 other people were around the pool. This happened every day. One morning (around 8am) we watched a man with a cup of tea in one hand, about 7 towels in the other, lay down towels on a row of sunbeds, then head back to bed and didn't use the sunbeds til mid-afternoon. This resulted in the weird situation where each day until mid-afternoon the pool area would be virtually empty but no sunbeds would be available because they'd been claimed by towels and pegs. This is obviously more of an issue with the guests than the hotel, but I do feel the hotel could do something to try and discourage this selfish behaviour.
