We have just checked out after 10 days at this beautiful resort. I can’t praise the hotel highly enough, our room was absolutely beautiful and cleaned to a high standard daily. All areas of the hotel are great, and the service from the staff was impeccable. All the restaurants on site are excellent, we didn’t have one bad meal. Breakfast buffet selection is great also.
The only thing that surprised me is that if you are not all inclusive, the food and drink prices are quite expensive, very much western prices and what we would expect to pay at home in the UK. However the quality of meals/drinks did fairly represent this and of course factoring in the hotel is on an island.
Overall we had a wonderful stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. We would also recommend this resort to all of our family and friends. Thank you for a lovely holiday 😊

It was seamless from start to finish.

Boat over to the resort was an exceptional on time service
All staff from gardening, maintenance, service, spa and reception staff were friendly and really hard working.
We had the all inclusive package, the options available were good, we had 2 out of the 4 restaurants available and good all inclusive drinks options at both.
There was 50% off at the other restaurants.
The only complaint I would have in regard to this would be the western menu was indicated as covered by all inclusive on info sheet given on arrival, however this was a paid menu ( 11-5pm). Also when the buffet nights happened at kucina my partner would have no western menu options on those evenings as thats when the kucina al a carte would not be available. Thats for the more fussy eater, he did eat off the kids menu once or twice. i however loved eating in Kabang and didn't have any complaints .
We loved the Spa, there was always appointments available.
We loved our time on the resort.
We had one of the pool villa rooms which was one of our favourite things about our stay, plenty of time spent in that pool.
The onsite shop was handy if you forget suncream or mossy spray.
We went on the hotels walking tour of the island, the local village also has a few shops if your looking for a few bits for your fridge.
Hopefully we get to revisit in the future

Overall, this resort offers a wonderful and relaxing experience. The facilities are well maintained, the atmosphere is calm and inviting, and the location is ideal for a beachside getaway. Everything is thoughtfully designed to make guests feel comfortable and well looked after.
Further, the restaurants offer a good variety of dishes, including vegetarian options.
A special mention must go to Von at Laku Beach Club, whose service truly stood out. Von was attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making our experience exceptional. From the warm welcome to the consistent attention to detail throughout our time at the beach club, the service was outstanding and made a real difference to our stay.

Fabulous from start to finish! Feels like you’re in a dream the moment you step foot on the island. Excellent all inclusive options included. Highly recommend an evening at Koko for 50% off food and drink, excellent steak and service. Breakfast plentiful and varied options daily, lunch buffet excellent in Italian, lunch and dinner excellent in Kabang, lamb rogan josh and Thai fishcakes are a must try! Super snacks available also chicken wings and sausage roll are fantastic. Free water activities available. Well stocked mini bar and snack draw for free. Staff goes out of their way, you will feel so relaxed.

A wonderful stay for my family. It was wonderful to enjoy the amazing facilities at the Barcelo Coconut Resort. Beautiful surroundings and nature, a wonderful villa right by the sea with an incredible view. The best food in a unique setting. Friendly and incredibly attentive staff. A professional Muay Thai instructor. Special thanks for the villa upgrade for our stay and for the wonderful birthday surprises for my daughter, who celebrated her 18th birthday on the day of our arrival. All this made our stay incredible and unforgettable. A huge thank you to the management and all the staff at Barcelo Coconut.
