A wonderful hotel. Food is lovely and the speciality restaurants are both very high quality. The entertainment for the children is constant and always something for them to do. The shows were fantastic for an all inclusive resort and the staff are so friendly. Rooms are amazing, so spacious and it is exceptionally clean everywhere. Only negative is the wind, it’s quite cold getting out of the pool for the kids (but this obviously isn’t the hotels fault). Would highly recommend.

Just got home from a stay at bahia. Hotel was amazing the castle is brilliant to look at. The cocktails were amazing only tried pina colada and strawberry daquiri but they were amazing the beer was also very nice. The splash zone with slides was good. Infinity pool was decent looking out onto ocean was so relaxing. Brilliant curry house across the road very cheap too.
Reasons i didnt give 5 stars is because
1.staff member down by infinity pool very rude.
2.id of given rooms 5 star but cleaners failed to replace shower gel and shampoos seams silly but wanna be able to wash dirt of my body
3. Breakfast was ok the undercooked sausages ruined it for me. Bacon was ok and so was the poached eggs
4. The music going off on a night thats not even part of entertainment is annoying when your tryna sleep i can imagine it would be an issue for parents with kids easily woken at slightest noise
Overall its a good hotel probably more for familys than couples. My partner did request birthday stuff for our room as we were celebrsting my 30th and th3y failed to do it but we seen they decorated other rooms for birthdays so was a let down for her.

Just came back on monday after a week here, and i have to say was the best hotel i’ve ever been to in all the hotels i’ve ever been too in spain.
Rooms- The cleanliness was unmatched the cleaners will change your bedding and clean ur room and re stock ur mini fridge in your room every morning and give you clean towels. We had a big room it was 2 adults and a baby we got a free travel cot inside a king sized bed could fit a family of 6 a big bathroom that felt like luxury even a couch and 2 chairs with a coffee table and a huge balcony my view was just unreal, also lots of storage and a safe in there also. You don’t need a key to get into your room the wristbands you get you just tap the door and it opens it is by far the easiest i’ve ever been able to open doors in a hotel, don’t have to worry about loosing room keys.
Service-The staff are so kind understanding and empathetic. I would love to give a massive shoutout to James who works on reception who has an english accent, he was beyond helpful, when i had to take my son to hospital he did as much as he could for us even though he didn’t have to. The staff is more then helpful, and accommodating. There is so many workers so you will never be looking for help they are always there. They are so great with kids also, just unbelievable i felt so welcome here.
Food-The buffet was just wow !! I’ve seen many reviews saying it was terrible but no way! I’ve never seen so many options for food and even for people that have dietary restrictions also!! The biggest and freshest buffet i’ve ever been too. The staff inside the buffet were so helpful and so kind also. The steakhouse was 10/10 food was beautiful ! and the staff were amazing and so good with my son they loved talking to him and playing with him. I felt so at ease. I miss the food loads it was delicious ! There are plenty of restaurants there too besides the buffet that are a must to try !!
Pools- So many options and so many pools, they are so clean ! and even heated ! So you don’t get a freezing cold pool, there is a kids section just behind the castle that even has a waterpark in it! We spent the whole week down there rather then the bigger pools it was fantastic the pools were so warm there was kids entertainment happening down there everyday they are so great with the kids also activities for the adults down there too in the pools such as excersise classes! The pools were a big hit and were amazing my 15 month old hates pools but he lovedddd those ones ! There is a bit of wind so the umbrellas will more then likely blow and fall over but it’s so warm so it makes up for it! The wind is kind of nice as it’s so warm lol. I can’t complain at all it was perfect. Best hotel pools ever in my experience absolutely amazing for kids and adults.
Bars- The bars are amazing the cocktails omg!! And they are included in your all inclusive they are amazing and were even brought out to our table outside so we didn’t have to wait, the sports bar was incredible games on at night time like quizzes there’s pool tables that we used every night was so fun the energy was amazing there everyone was so happy and enjoying themselves, the drinks were absolutely amazing the best moquito i’ve ever had !! The drinks are to die for !! And the staff are so friendly !!!
Shows- We went to two shows as it was included in our all inclusive package and wow !!! It was AMAZING!! like professional level, everyone absolutely loved it, it was perfect and very well done. perfect for children and adults !! kept my 15 month old entertained !
Location- There is a tourist shop literally across the road with an indian restaurant and a pharmacy about 30 secs away (herbal pharmacy) so you won’t get ‘real’ medication there. A supermarket the opposite way about 20 seconds down. That has the bits you need. And also there’s a shop inside the hotel !! can you believe that has everything you need between baby care, gifts pool items food drinks snacks handbags clothes toys hygiene products !
It won’t let me type anymore but wow what a hotel 10/10

We had such a lovely stay! The staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The facilities are excellent and there’s so much to enjoy without even leaving the hotel.
The rooms are really spacious and spotlessly clean, which made it perfect for staying with children plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably.
The splash park was definitely a highlight – honestly, it’s something special and kept the kids entertained for hours. It really made the whole experience feel that bit more memorable.
Overall, a great place for a family stay. We’d definitely come back!

We stayed 6 nights at the Riu Buenavista (amazing hotel) before coming to Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife, which was supposed to be the highlight of our well-deserved family holiday. Unfortunately, it has turned out to be the biggest disappointment of our trip.
We still have 3 nights left here, but if I could get my money back and fly home tomorrow, I would do it without hesitation.
The biggest issue is the attitude of the staff. From the moment we arrived, the experience was unpleasant. Check-in was handled by Mariano, who was extremely unfriendly and showed no sense of customer service. We were left standing in line for almost two hours with small children, and there was no empathy or effort to make the situation easier.
Another staff member, Veronica (the lady with purple hair), was equally unfriendly and seemed annoyed whenever guests approached her. Sadly, this attitude continued throughout the hotel. Even something as simple as asking for a baby chair in the restaurant was met with sighs and visible frustration.
The only staff members who truly stood out in a positive way were Soufyane, the security guard, and Yvette from housekeeping. Soufyane was always friendly, welcoming, and professional, while Yvette was genuinely kind and clearly takes pride in her work. They were the only people who made us feel valued as guests.
Apart from them, most of the staff seemed unhappy, unmotivated, and uninterested in providing good service. That is not what you expect from a hotel that markets itself as a premium family resort.
It is only because we have already paid for our stay that we are still here. Otherwise, we would have left already.
This has been, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience we have ever had, and unfortunately, we cannot recommend Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable family holiday.
Another major disappointment is the hotel's accessibility for families with young children. It is hard to understand how this resort can market itself as a family-friendly hotel when parents are constantly forced to carry strollers up and down stairs. The elevators are a nightmare, small, narrow, overcrowded, and often require a long wait. With babies, strollers, and young children, this becomes extremely frustrating and inconvenient. For a hotel that claims to cater to families, the infrastructure is surprisingly poorly designed and does not meet the needs of parents with young children.
Bahia principe save our holiday and pay us back for the nights we have left, so we can go to a real premium hotel.
