2My best friend and i stayed here, and it was great to start with, very spacious and airy. What we didn't like was there was no pool bar open the whole time we were there as it was maintenance month, but it was advertised as open. Also we didn't like the fact that the spanish families came to stay at weekends and pushed alot of people out of the pools, they would leave their towels on all the sunbeds, leaving any other people having to wait, and when they got told not to do this they still carried on putting towels down. Not impressed as one wife in particular started a row with some friends we made over their. I would never stay here again. Also you had to pay for the remote control for the tv which wasn't to our liking. However there was some lovely places to go to and some long walks we went on too, including a long winding four hill walk.

just returned from a week in the apartments, there is a local shopping center full of bars & restaurants and a few shops opposite.
however it is a far walk to the beach & the main location, you can get a taxi which costs around 4 euros.
everyone reserves the sun beds by the pool area & no one is to be seen in the pool, spoke to the life guard about this & i was advised to speak to the reception however this is his job. he is in charge of the pool area & doesn't care at all.
the rooms are standard, beds were horrendous, i paid extra to have a pool view however all the rooms are pool views with a balcony. the option was to go all inclusive however they never even had a bar.
my apartment door was left open all morning & afternoon by the maids as they never shut it properly.

Our second time staying at Babalu and must say it wasn't as good as the first time we stayed. Rooms are adequate enough but very tired looking. Bed and bedding was uncomfortable, pillows just felt like a pillow case stuffed with socks! No pool bar anymore so no snacks and drinks available. Plenty of music provided by other guests regardless of whether you wanted to hear it or not, we especially liked the drunk shouting along to songs provided by guests on a higher level and the 2 am door slamming and chair sliding provided by guests below us. But that's holiday budget hotels for you!
Staff were lovely here very friendly and helpful and the domestic staff keep the rooms clean with fresh towels each day and beds made daily. Pool area is spotless and pools lovely. They don't open till about 10.30 most days but do stay open till gone 7. All in all we did enjoy out stay here I just think I'm getting less tolerant of other people's noise and lack of sleep in my old age!! 😆😆

Having been coming here for years. Come every October. Had a little break last week so stayed here too. Nice apartments, view is stunning. Staff friendly, near local shops.
