A very average 3* hotel. Nothing really special about this place and a lot that needs improvement. The worst thing about this hotel are queues for meals. One restaurant serving two big buildings. I have stayed 9 nights and I can easily say that in total I wasted an entire day waiting to enter a restaurant or to get a coffee from machine . I have to queue for every dinner and breakfast (lunch was fine) . This is not acceptable! I have stayed in many hotels (mostly budget) and I have never experienced such queues anywhere else. On a plus side food is really tasty! Bad desserts, good coffee, good bier and awful all inclusive cocktails from machine. 1 euro deposit for cups. It's nice to sit at the bar at the seafront at hotel 1. The room (building 2) is big enough , good shower but you can hear your neighbour snoring or talking in next room. Swimming pool decent size but not enough sun beds (there is plenty of room to put more) People working at hotel are very nice & polite (apart from one young girl at the bar) Very nice man doing daily activities like mini golf etc. Location is good (especially building 1 which is right at seafront, building 2 is across the road)

Located in the centre of San Antonio Bay this was my first visit to this hotel , although stayed at another Azuline many times. My flight was delayed by 2 hours so arrived around midnight . There was food set aside for me ( a lovely touch )There are two hotels in the complex and both sites have bars and pools , one overlooking the sea and the other across the road had two pools , a chill out terrace and live entertainment every night. I found the staff very friendly, Pepe could not do enough for me again and it was very much appreciated. The room was basic but ideal for myself and cleaned daily. Overall I would highly recommend The Mar Amantis as a great hotel at a reasonable price.

I'm writing this review as I'm sitting overlooking the bay having a drink on my last full day. I was worried about some of the reviews before we came, but it's always as it seems, some people just like a whinge! The staff are lovely and friendly , the food is, as always with all inclusive, on a rotation through the week and is far more than adequate and there's something for all (although unusually I've not seen any chicken nuggets 😂). The hotel is split into 2. Mar Amantis I houses the main restaurant with 2 small pools, 1 for adults and another kids pool and Mar Amantis II has a snack bar and bar and has 3 split level pools and also a nice bakery attached. My only issue with the food aspect is that the restaurant is a little small for the possible number of people that may use it so sometimes you may have to queue to get in (although not too long). The rooms (certainly in Mar Amantis II) could do with an update, the decor is stuck somewhere between the late 80s and early 90s but they're pretty much spotless. The cleaners, like the other staff are lovely and friendly and it is just for the decor and restaurant delays I only gave the overall 4 out of 5 score. Oh and along with the fact there's no free WiFi which I find unusual but not a deal breaker. I'd certainly stay here again, it's an easy base to use with the water taxi right outside for €4 per person to get over to San Antonio and from there you can get other transport to various parts of the island. I'd recommend anyone stay here for a break. I'd like to apologise to all the non British people who stayed for the embarrassing Brits that ran to the sunbeds as if their lives depended on it when there's no need. Even less need considering there's a gorgeous little quiet beach next to the hotel (see pic) with soft sand and beautiful clear water and plenty of room!

Great welcome, got upgraded on arrival. Michelle on reception always very helpful and chatty. Rooms and hotel overall very clean and tidy. Maid cleaning service every day. Hotel right on the waterfront with great views across the bay to San Antonio. Bus services and taxis right on the doorstep. Food choices varied daily, always something to eat. Only drawback the evening rush for one restaurant serving both of the hotels had queues to get in. It would be better for them to allocate a specific time slot for families to eat early first. We saw many people who did not have the wristbands using the restaurant and questioned if they were actually staying here... We were given cards to scan for entry but again not everyone did. Had to queue for the pool to open at 10 am, then a rush for sunbeds but as the week went on this quietened down as other guests left. Evening entertainment was ok, couple of singers, dance group, karaoke, bingo. Hotel in a good location for getting about, boats right outside taking you across the bay and boat tours. 4euros pp, we found it cheaper by taxi to get there and back from San Antonio. Lots of local bars and restaurants nearby within easy walking distance. Souvenir shops and a tobacconist shop. The weather in October was warm and comfortable heat, pools a little chilly but once in and climatized they were ok. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and if we went back to Ibiza we'd consider this again, however in hindsight there's more to do across the bay actually in San Antonio so we'd probably stay that side if we ever returned to Ibiza. The bar staff in the snack bar Mar Amantis 2 very rude especially the lady, very snappy. Quite an unpleasant experience when using this. Would recommend the hotel for adults but not much for children to do and lots of families we heard complaining about that. We didn't have kids with us so we weren't overly concerned.

We would never recommend this hotel to anyone of an older generation! We were plonked in a room surrounded by young people partying til 6 in the morning! Food was mainly cold or warmed up and the same everyday! Rooms were basic and insufficient sunbeds around the seaview pool! 2nd pool not as bad! Because we were half board we were charged 6 euros for 2 cokes around the pool! Day light robbery but money was not put through the till as the guy said it wasn't working!!! If you want to enjoy a nice relaxing holiday and of an older age group do not stay here! It would have been better if reception kept younger people in the separate hotel!
