Didn't realise the apartments we booked were with a private host. No maid service, no towel change because we didn't stay more than 7 days. The apartment was clean and well furnished. We had to get the key from a box on the wall at the door of our apartment. We never met our host. The apartment complex is gated, and you need a code for the keypads on the gates. We were not given the code before arrival and had to ask other guests staying at the complex for the access code. The pools and pool bar are very good.

Extremely good host who was always available and very pleasant to deal with. Very well equipped room. A very pleasant surprise to find shower gel, suncream, tea bags and coffee and particularly washing up liquid available. We usually have to buy some, use a little and leave a rest behind. Spent a week at Atlantic Garden Beach Mate, and it was okay. Negatives - Ants in the apartment. Yes it's a warm climate, but they were unpleasant, in every cupboard/on each surface. Cleaning only every other day. Towels only changed weekly! Lighting within the grounds not the best at night. Positives - Decent location for a stroll out to the main strip. Local shops, bars and supermarket literally in the next block. Beach a bit of a walk but nothing major if you're physically mobile. Grounds are well maintained and attractive. Staff encountered were pleasant. There is a cafe bar, laundry room and small gym - we didn't use them so can't comment as to how good they are. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and if the price was low enough, would stay again - would definitely take some ant powder though! Yes, it's fairly basic, but very quiet and chilled, so as we were only looking to relax for a week, it fit the bill.

Atlantic Gardens Corralejo is a lovely place, we are so glad we chose to stay there. The staff are all welcoming and caring, Valentina on reception makes you feel the resort is delighted that you have arrived and sets the tone for your visit in such a happy way. The rest of the staff are cheerful and positive too. All day every single day the whole place is cleaned, apartments are cleaned, bedding and towels changed, the gardens are trimmed and maintained. The resort is kept immaculate and very comfortable. The staff never stop looking after the place and the guests. It's a joy to be there. The pools are clean and filtered 24/7, with an attendant there and keeping the pools and sun furniture clean and nicely arranged all day. There's a nice bar/cafe by the poolside, everything you need. There's a free book exchange, which guests can use, a nice touch. The shopping centre two minutes walk away has a great supermarket, clothes shops, cafes and bars, all are spotlessly clean and cared for by staff that have pride in their work. They are so good that there is little need to look elsewhere. The main touristy shopping street is a short walk away, as are the beaches and other attractions of Corralejo. We recommend a walk to Chris' Kitchen restaurant, we had lovely food there. We were very happy at Atlantic Gardens and would heartily recommend it to anyone.

The apartments are set in very well kept grounds with a good pool area with 3 pools, one of which is salt water There is a small poolside bar serving snacks during the day.. Many of the apartments are owned privately and rented out but we booked directly with the hotel. The living room/kitchen had a verandah overlooking the pool with a separate double bedroom. All the equipment we needed was provided including microwave, toaster and hairdryer. The reception staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were cleaned every other day. There was nothing luxurious and the shower room could do with a bit of tlc but the shower was good, loads of very hot water. Good location near a local shopping center with cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. Also market stalls some days. Easy walk to a nice beach and 15 minutes walk to the main centre.
